I want a *gasp* thin Busse.

+++++++1

I have a custom shop AD that is by far the most used Busse I have and love, it is .14 or so thick and easily the best Busse slicer I own.

Haven't had the $$$, but I would love an even thinner version for even better slicing. :D That .125 BAD would be slick.

I'm going to toss one more into the mix, though it's just as hard to find as the ABA LE.

The original Lean Mean Street. It's sort of like a cross between the Culti and the AD. Thin, straight handle, and very ergonomic.

I've got BA, ABA, Mean Street, and Lean Mean Street ... and I can verify from personal experience that they do work in the bush.

My personal favorite? ABA.:D But really, any of these do a FINE job. I've got a few of the new BOSS Streets that I think will also do well -- they're super-sized versions of the Mean Streets, but aren't too thick. Just haven't had a chance to use them yet.

Grind off the spine ramp on the S5LE......awesome knife for "everything" .....bushcraft....hunting....military....my favourite bit of Infi...then the NMFBM....then the Basic 9. Just my thoughts...:)

That's one of the few coated blades I would die to get. Might not stay coated for long though.

Yeah, I still drool after that snake Meaner... And the snake Cultie is not too bad either.

G, is that black canvas on the Culti? looks particularly black, did you color it?

nice set and cool comparison photo too...

Where is resinguy? He's the thin INFI freak.

Just catching up on this thread. I have a few of the skinny Wardens, kept agitating for an Anorexic one. The Cultie is very nice. Haven't used my CPABA. Always wanted the original Leaner Meaner, but the asking prices got too high

those Lean Means look awesome.

I'm leaning heavily toward a Culti to pair with my BWM as an all-around set. I would like to try one of the Hacks with the big choil that have shown up at the shows, head to head against a Culti - but just by looks and thinking about it - the Culti seems better.

I had one of the GW HACKs, but it was FAT! :grumpy::thumbdn:

Agreed, a Lean BOSS Street would be the ultimate.

+1. Maybe I can get Garth to run mine through a surface grinder? :D

This one's only 0.125", but it's a bit large for woodcraft....
