I want my.........FRONTIER MISTRESS....did you hear me......FRONTIER MISTRESS

Would that mean one could post sketches if they renounced any claim to intellectual property rights associated with the sketch or even gift those rights to Busse?

Sincerely,
Ego sum Chrysaora

I hear what you're saying. Not really a 'battle cry." You can marginalize me if you want, but since you decided to get up in my face, I'll stand by what I wrote. And I don't recall saying that images of females shaking their breasts needed to be "taken away" from you, or taken from Anthony Weiner, or taken from anyone else. I was only suggesting that Shane has a point: that it's inappropriate in some spaces (which it is) because of kids and work-friendly policies. What I am saying is truth. I tried to say it respectfully, but if you can't understand that, then I really don't care.

Oh good lord.

You are on the Busse COMBAT KNIFE FORUM.

When I tried to access it from my computer at work, I got the message "this site is restricted: Weapons."

Somebody needs to learn to choose their battles more wisely. [emoji849]

"Kids should be allowed their time of innocence blah, blah, blah, while browsing the Busse Combat Knife forum. Won't somebody think of the children?!" Gimme a break.

That's interesting, the type in the magazine pic says Fusion Steel Heart, but it looks like more of an Ergo to me. Of course I am still just a piglet (I think, maybe not even that far yet). I, like rcb2000, enjoy the history, however, I probably know far less. That being said, is this a Fusion design that preceded the current version, or did the mag editors get it wrong. Just curious, I actually don't know.

That's an E handle Battle Mistress. Nowhere near to a FSH.

What you're saying isn't the truth, it's your opinion.

Kids under 13 shouldn't be viewing the forum as Jaxx said. Kids shouldn't be viewing a Combat Knife forum IMO anyway.

The image may be innapropriate in some work spaces, but not all.

Even if the kids are viewing the forum (pr looking over your shoulder) and you are browsing the forum during work (which i'm guessing isn't what you get paid to do) where images of a women (not naked i might add) is innapropriate, people that ask for these images not to be posted are asking for a filter. Censorship. Of images of the human body.

Don't you think that is ridiculous? If not, you might want to cover your eyes when you leave the house if you are so worried about seeing other people...

Or maybe you're right and censorship of our own bodies is exactly what we need! Maybe we should all start wearing burkas, too!

/drunken rant

Hell, you might wanna extend that eye covering to opening practically ANY magazine, and watching ANY channel on TV. You don't even need to leave your house these days to be "assaulted" by ladies and their offensive "breastesses".

The guy needs to police his kids, and what they're doing. Not this beloved subforum.

I notice nothing was mentioned at all about the dudes in banana hammocks... That's, interesting...

In the immortal words of Mr. Jerry Busse, let's drink! Sheesh.

I think the Frontier Mistress could use a Birds Beak pommel and smooth bolts...but I'm Old school that way. :D

The article was at a time when the FBM was just coming out and all they had was a pic of a BME lol.

Since we're talking about drawings...

The more I look at it, the more I like it-since I have a couple bunker Busters on order I would like to see this in a 10 inch version! However 91/2 inches would work also!!

SFNO handle + double guard (Team gemini) + big blade = SFNO Frontier???
OAL: 15.74"
blade width: 1.968"

Not a fan of the SFNO handle on anything bigger than a 6 inch blade.

Interesting,, including the NMSFNO obviously?

yup. I like a more secure rear to hold my hand on a big chopper. The SFNO handle is not designed to keep the rear secure like the hook on the SH, Fussion or Ergo handles
