Oh and for $250 or less. Now the real question, I want an extremely heavy (weight) large bladed folding knife with a failsafe locking mechanism. Is there such an animal in existence? My desire for heavy comes from my .50 cal Desert Eagle AE. If I am going to hold a weapon I want it to feel as such. I refuse to believe I am the only one with such a desire. The zt300 doesn't cut it for me, which by the way is a fine knife. And the beating I took for mentioning Dark Ops equipment has indeed left a hole in my heart. So, does the knife I seek exist or do I need to design it myself. (not really an option)

* Decided to go with an Hossom Retribution-1 by Ontario Knives. Did some research and found that this knife might hold me for a while while I save up for the Extreme Ratio RAO, and the Crusader Forge both of which fit my idea of the perfect folder. Thanks for the help and No I am not SPRITE but thanks for the compliments

Thick blades aren't very good at slicing.

Other than some coolness factor, why do you need a very heavy bladed folder? What do you intend to cut?

Why not go with a small, thick fixed blade knife?

The thickness of the blade is not exactly as important and the overall weight of the knife, although is one aspect of the weight I desire. Have you ever noticed sound of a BMW door shutting. Solid, thick and quality comes to my mind. And to carry a fixed blade is just a little over the top for me. Thanks for your input.

If your idea of the perfect handgun is a Desert Eagle of any kind, then you have some possibly unsolveable issues to begin with.

I agree.
I used to have a .50 cal D.E.
Parts broke on it. It was the most UN-reliable handgun I've ever had.
It was too big and too heavy.
Ammo choices were few and limited.
Other calibers and handguns can do the same things without the problems.

I sold it.

It was kinda like a big thick ,heavy folder.
Too many drawbacks.

Oh sh*t! I just read about your hole in the heart thing for mentioning Dark Ops.

I'm sorry!
DE's are really, um, um, BIG! Yeah, really big and NASTY LOOK'in!

im not sure how big your really looking for but id say take a look at the spyderco chinook III

At least a BMW is functional. What you want, and why you want it, sounds a bit mall ninja to me. All for show.
Heck, I have some mall ninja stuff.

Good luck in your search.

BTW, have you looked at the ballistics for the S&W 500 magnum? :)

DUDE! you want a RAZR KNIFE!!!!! its TRIPLE HEAT TREATED THREE TIMES!!!!! NEVER NEEDS SHARPENING!

Yes there are some colorful individuals out there. Thanks for the info. So far its looking like the RAO is king!
