Hey folks, I know theres probably been numerous posts like this but having acquired my current grail, being the Brian Tighe Break with lightning strike carbon fibre handles and a BG42 blade (not the damascus presentation version) , I'd like to know your grail that you dream about or have actually acquired. Plus, who doesn't like a little knife porn every once in a while am I right? Happy collecting to you all! PS the pic is from Brian Tighe's website as my grail is still on it's way to me.

Ugh it changes everyday.

Today it's the ZT 0500 MUDD.

Mine is in the mail. Brian Tighe mini tighe-rod.

Mine would be a Loveless chute knife or New York special. If I wasn't so cheap I would have 1 of each now.

Today it would be a Crusader Forge Metro Tactical, stonewashed and no milling on the ti handles.

Same with mine. Should be here in the next few days hopefully. I'm beyond excited because it's my intro to custom knives and ever since I saw a Tighe for the first time a few years ago i've wanted one. Even if the dream is small, it can still come true.

Stag handled shotshell puller automatic like the one Johnny had in The Outsiders.

Like this?

My grail knife would be a true EDC version of this, but with a swing guard.

7" bolo, straight back, curved antler handle. I'm still waiting for Hoiho Knives to do it.

I just got a benchmade 940 that I am so in love with that I am sending it out to be laser engraved with my name and I am getting the handle scales cerakoted. I don't see my self edcing much else once I get it back, but other than that I have always wanted to own a lefty micarta large sebenza 21. Probably from the hype of it all though because I have never held one before.

I always think of a "Grail" knife to be unattainable. So that would be ridiculously priced, very rare, or both. For me the knife would have to be carried and used. It would either have to be a great jack of all trades EDC or serve a distinct purpose other than my defining terms of the word "Grail" above. There are plenty of knives I can't afford, especially given my criteria. My Shirogorov 95 Hati is likely the most perfect, expensive & rare knife I'll ever buy. Considering my own personal tastes and biases it is very close to what I might consider a Grail. I'd love to have a Strider/Terzuola collaboration, a Crusader Forge folder, a Scott Cook Loshsa, a Raymond Estrella, or a ect... though!

Mine actually isn't that unrealistic, its only about twice the price as my current most expensive knife so at $300 there's a good chance I'll have it within the next year or so...

A William Henry E10 with either white bone inserts (a factory option) or custom inserts like krinite or for a modern look something like C-Tek or maybe lightning strike CF or similar (maybe have a couple sets to change out with my mood).

Izula folder... whenever that comes out :\

benchmade 940 [...] handle scales cerakoted.
Interesting, I love my 940 but the aluminum scales are just so damn soft! Mine is a daily user and I have no problem beating on the blade but I feel like I need to baby the scales. Where are you sending your scales to be coated? What color did you choose?

The OLFA XH-AL. Huge handle, a little more rugged blades than my last OLFA, the Auto Lock is as fast and convenient as ever.
