I guess it depends on what you definition of grail is. For me, a Brian Tighe is what i've wanted for years even though it's not super up there in price compared to a Southard or a Mayo for example and the fact that I finally got one gives me that sense of accomplishment in finally getting my "grail".I always think of a "Grail" knife to be unattainable. So that would be ridiculously priced, very rare, or both. For me the knife would have to be carried and used. It would either have to be a great jack of all trades EDC or serve a distinct purpose other than my defining terms of the word "Grail" above. There are plenty of knives I can't afford, especially given my criteria. My Shirogorov 95 Hati is likely the most perfect, expensive & rare knife I'll ever buy. Considering my own personal tastes and biases it is very close to what I might consider a Grail. I'd love to have a Strider/Terzuola collaboration, a Crusader Forge folder, a Scott Cook Loshsa, a Raymond Estrella, or a ect... though!
John is still about 3yrs of backlog just incase you didnt knowI don't know if "grail" is really the right term as it's totally attainable, but I'm counting down the days (read: years) until John Gonzalez gets to me on his list. I'm going to get a Dervish Alchemy folder.
After that, I would say one of the Rockstead Un's would be nice to get someday if I have the disposable money![]()

As for me I dont really have any grails...
of course I have high end knives I want but given time I can find them
But the 2 hardest to get would probably be a wrbladeworks phobos and a custom Begg bodega
