I want to know YOUR grail

Phil Boguszewski!!!
I would love to own one of his King Cobras or King Pythons with a Timascus frame, LSCF bolster and Damascus(Hornets Nest or Typhoon) blade. This is my own dream concoction but he did make Cobras with Timascus frames and Satin blades.
IMO that man made the best flippers in the world.
With Phils passing these are truly grail knives.
R.I.P Phil

I don't remember anything about this knife but it was titled "Grail Knife" before I uploaded it to PB.

For a collector piece, and on that unattainable level, it would be some sort of custom William Henry probably.

From an actual, would carry and use as a EDC and all that, it's probably a XM-18 3" slicer. Of course, all this is subject to change as I fall deeper and deeper into the abyss of researching and looking at cool knives.

Right now (and for the past few months) my grail is the all black Spyderco Paramilitary 2. It feels like I've been saving forever but it is still out of reach :(

The problem with having a grail anything is that it tends to be a moving target...once you get it you'll simply think of another that you'd love to obtain.

Right now, I've have to say a Dietmar Kressler Chute Knife.

A.G. Russell describes Dietmar Kressler as the German Bob Loveless...high praise indeed.

My grail would be an original SOG Tomcat. The picture of that knife just made me think HEAVY DUTY.

Strider SNG with a stonewashed CPM-154 blade, flamed Ti, and black lego G10. While not as nice as a lot of the customs posted here, for me right now its just as unattainable.

No knife is as wanted than a collector's war used katana.

Or even one of those $10,000 yanagi's made by a traditional katana empire.

Scott Cook Loscha

Going by his 5 year waiting list.I should be hearing from him around 2015.:)

2nd choice would be a custom Ti framelock by Mike Snody

Was an M390 PM2. Got one.
Then was a wood-handled FiddleBack Forge KE Bushie. Got it!
I've fancied a couple others, but none have driven me mad the way these two did.

My remaining true grail would be the Lochsa, though - why do you guys keep reminding me about that one? And why did he hafta stop making 'em?

Don't have a knife that really sets me off, but my ultimate blade would be a Busse Dragon's Fang.

For a while it was Sebenza, then it was a Hinderer. Which seemed insanely pricey as my most expensive knife was 140$ and it was awesome. After I got a Spyderco Southard(after a lot of considering) the folder craving settled. I think the Southard has changed the way I view the cost of knives and I feel my folders are coverd: Now my grail is a Busse NMSFNO(Nuclear Meltdown Special Forses Natural Outlaw) http://www.badmojo.net/nuclear-meltdown-special.html)

I don't think he stopped making them.My guess(& it's only a guess) is he fills up his order list every five years or so when he gets caught up with his last orders. That's the RIGHT way to do it if you asked me.Keep your eyes peeled around 2015 & you'll get on the next list.
Then again, there's always the secondary market for four to five times the price you would pay direct from the maker.

im savin for a upper end tomahawk, but all these busse choppers are making me take a double take.probably out of my range though.but wanting a winkler sayoc hawk. grail..
