here's a patina i forced on a 1095 knife made by a guy i know

i bought a pacific salt for cheap but the tip was broken (i knew this before hand) so i filed it down and now it is similar to some of the griptillians.

That's a gold class one that comes in titanium and carbon fiber, not the standard green aluminum one that was customized to look that way.

Okay, I guess I need to look at more knife porn. I guess he put on that deep carry pocket clip... I still wanna see if someone has sanded/sandblasted off the green, I think the 940 would look really cool with aluminum scales that look like the 470 Emissary with a blue flamed deep carry clip and change the purple backspacer to blue flamed titanium too. Maybe some blue on the thumbstud and it would sorta look like a weird Chris Reeves knife!
