I wish Spyderco would...

...make a new giant lockback folder, bigger than the original fullsize Manix.

Also some new folders in the style of the Persian and Kris would be great.

I'd like to see them shift some of the domestic production overseas to take advantage of some other steels. How about a Paramilitary in VG-10, or a Military in H1? Or how about the reverse, and send some of the Seki made stuff here, and give us an S30V Endura?

I know in the end it would be way too expensive to set up the tooling overseas even for a limited sprint run (maybe especially for limited sprint run), but it's a fun idea.

I love S30V, but I'd drool all over a VG-10 Para.

A Spyderco EDC with a classic steel like Vascowear, or O-1. RC 60-61, blade minimum 3.5 inches, 3.75" preferably, with a thin grind leaf style blade. Any of the commonly used locks are good, but I'd prefer lockback/midlock.

Funny, But I was looking at old Gerbers with M2 steel, and Vascowear ( they called it "super V steel" or something like that). Some models with the M2 go for over $1000. The vascowear steels are so rare they seem to only show up in auction houses and go for pretty good money.

Other than it not being stainless Vascowear is excellent. The new powder steel versions of this steel should be awesome at RC61-62. Wear resistance is in the Full hard (rc 64-65) M2/CPM M4 class, well above D2. It's tougher than D2 also, not quite at A2 levels.

I prefer it over 3V, and would enjoy it coated, or uncoated.

A 52100 bladed EDC folder would be nice too. It's a great blade steel IMO. It would be difficult choosing between it and O-1. Any of the above would make super tough blades for knives like the Manix 2 large version.

I like the way you think Smegs.

YEAH, a, new and Improved C54!!!!!!!! Gots to keep the micarta (or FRN :D), White would be GROSS!!!!

Would also like to see an Endura similar to the Glock tool version, with maybe a fire steel or something else handy.

How about offering different colored replacement G-10 scales for certain models? If they came with replacement screws, it would be even better. I'd buy a set of every color, blue, gray, white, yellow, toxic green, and on and on.

More options for tip down carry. Too often I've seen a Spyderco that I really like, only to find that it's tip up only. (I despise tip up. It's an abomination against natural order.)

C'mon, guys. Three little holes at the other end (or two little slots for wire clips.) 'Taint hard.

PE Mariner salt.

Calypso revival.

put a manix2 style choil on the Delica!

Interesting, because I was thinking removing the choil from the Manix 2. The handle fits my hand very well and I would prefer more blade and removal of the choil. On smaller knives, like the Caly 3 or even Native, I like the choil. However, on larger knives with a full-sized handle I would rather not have a choil. To each his own.

I wish Spyderco would bring out updated versions of the large and small rescue nives. 4 position clips and liners with frn and g10 handled variants and waved versions.

Add h1 or titanium liners to the salt folders for a bit more strength and rigidity, and some g10 handled avriants, especially a waved h1 spyderwawk .

Release a H1 fixed blade designed specifically for hot weather concealed carry, give it a handle that provides excellent retention alla lagriffe, karambit or TDI style and a well thought out minimal bulk kydex sheath that is optomized to be wearable next to the skin.

1. Continue to be profitable and make some knives in Golden, including a gigantic FFG manix2 in s30v

2. Orange Dodo sprint run.
