Refunding your money before he had the knife back is unheard of...and a really nice thing to do...to just say "It's over....just give me my knife back" It was really low end to post negatively...when you have your money AND his knife. :barf:

actually, they shouldn't see any money. i have received a refund or two over the years, and paypal reversed the fees on the sellers' end when it came back. hopefully, that's what'll happen here.rroper1 said:...I realize paypal probably got a fee off the return money too so their up about 7.00 just for "holding the dough"(the real crooks here)...
Intentions don't mean squat. If you always intended to, why has this dragged on. You obviously did not communicate your intentions. Ren refunded your payment in good faith. A reasonably intelligent person would have shipped the knife to show the same good faith and communicated about the shipping at a later date. Ren has done everything contracturally to attempt to satisfy you. You are in breach of contract as well as good faith.TrackerDan said:Yes I have every intention of returning the knife, always did, which will be this coming week.
Amazingly, I believe I did business with this person a couple years ago and all went well.

Damage control on your part is going to require more than laying low for a while. Do your homework and find out more about the man you are impuning here. Procede with caution next time and think before elevating this to a whining contest. You yourself admit everything went well a couple of years ago. Did you think the seller changed that much and you couldn't reach an acceptable agreement or were your expectations really so far out of line that it was necessary to air your laundry in public.
It's sad to see this and sad to see your protestations continue. From your continued quibbling, I would expect you don't intend to apologize....
