Idaho made engraving on nyala

Thanks Anne!
I have spoken to you and Chris many times at Blade, and both of you are all class. You have helped me very, very much twice at Blade. You even let me swap an unused knife I had just bought for the new micarta Inlay model the year it was introduced.

Don't worry one bit about what only a few have to say(over and over), and just keep doing what you do best.
Sometimes I wonder if some of these people realize how lucky they are to have no REAL problems to fret about.
Thanks again,
Kenny
.

Real problems..... Hmm let me see there was loosing my mum to cancer, then just last 2yrs ago I watched my wife go through breast cancer, we went through the usual "why me" stages and then the upset stages and I watched her fight for two yrs whilst we both beat our selves up in silence...

But.. We're not on our own there are many others in her position, some not so lucky... You know like my mum the very person whom I did want to see grow old, just so I could give her the things that she gave to me when I couldn't.....

I've had many real problems in life to deal with, but I certainly don't go comparing it as you have...

The stamp evidently bothers some, it does not bother me a bit. I have a Bob Dozier that says "Arkansas Made" on the blade. I have a Sebenza that says "Idaho Made". I also have a Mnandi. I scratched "Idaho Made" on the ebony inlay with a rusty nail. ;)

Thats a good one!!!:D:D:D:D

Chris D. :)

No! And I fail to see what your addition to the thread actually contributes in a meaningfully way.

You might want to leave this thread (and the issue) alone.
You have received the official response from the company even.
What more do you want?

Continuing with it will only alienate people you may wish to deal with in the future.

You are abvuously missing the point. This was a discussion regarding the Idaho made engraving on the blade with all those whom felt that they could add something to the story..

Whilst Chris reeve knives may have given an official statement that doesn't mean that the discussion is over. I think that there is plenty more to be said over the issue, and just rolling over giving up isn't on the cards.

The discussion is over.
They've heard every argument against the new stamp, including from me (I like my Umnumzaan without the stamp).

Unless you are buying the company and changing the practice, it really and truly is completely done.
It ain't going to change.

From now on, it is a case of bitching/ranting/complaining, because the discussion part has been started, engaged in, and finished.

It's only yourself whom is ranting, I am more than happy to discuss it further with those who haven't had a say yet. The whole reason for this forum is to allow people to discuss different issues, I fail to see where you come in to the equation to put the brakes on.

Ummm.... this entire thread doesn't contribute to anything in a meaningful way....it's pointless other than you whining about how you don't like something. How is that meaningful to anyone? I'm really surprised the Mods have left this thread here...

Fine, go right on making friends around here.

I was asked by the mods to create a new thread, this is what I have done. And apart from the few people whom are mocking this thread it has been a good discussion on the likes and dislikes of the idaho made engraving. If you don't like what you are reading then don't read it.. Simple, if you have got something you feel would add to the discussion of meaning then fire away, but don't just bla bla bla over the post, this is my first time on here and I was hoping for a better reception.

We all have differing views granted but to just think that because you've had enough, everyone's had enough doesn't really cut it!

..."discuss it further".....what more can be added??

Stabman, the last thing I want to do is stand on anyone's feet, I'm new to this forum and was hoping for a better reception, for the most part I have enjoyed discussing the issue, I'm not hear to cause trouble, at least not intentional but I am very passionate about the Crk knives, I can't go and buy elsewhere, I like Crk, but it's so damn annoying when it all got changed for the wrong reasons... Chinese copies will never go away..

Can anyone point me in the right direction or places to look for a nyala without the idaho made engraving on please.
