Idaho Made?

I just realized that the new Sebenza 21's have an "Idaho Made" stamp on them. This leads me to two questions.

1. Do all the new Sebenza's come with this stamp?
2. Does anyone like the stamp?

I for one don't.

What do you have against Idaho? I'm sure you love their potatoes. Just kidding bro.

all the newer knives from I believe late 2010 come with the stamp....theres already threads for the like/dislike opinions

Yes and yes. Shows a little pride, the kind you don't see enough of in American Natives.

I am a proud resident of The Golden State, born and raised. Greatest place on Earth.

This horse has been beaten so often and so hard that it is down to sub-atomic particles. ;) I think the only thing everyone would agree on is that it's better than seeing "China Made" on the handles. ;) Personally, I respect Mr. Reeve's decision and will leave it at that.

Sorry!!!! I'm just figuring out how the "search" works. I should have done a little more research before posting. If I would have known that this was such an emotionally charged question I wouldn't have posted. And thank you for your grace Esav. It's much appreciated. And yes Phantom357, I do love their potatoes. :)

Yes.

Don't really care but I'd prefer it not have the stamp.

Let's put it this way. I wouldn't pay more money to buy one without the stamp if that was the only difference nor would it keep me from buying a knife with the stamp on it.

It's cool sometimes it's good to see a little energy.

I for one like "Idaho made" much better than "China made". The maker has all reason to be proud of it and has every reason and right to engrave it on his knives.
The location and the wording though are debatable. I'm all for a small "Made in Idaho" on the inside of the titanium scales.

That said, I never liked the "Classic XX" engraving on the Classics as it undermined the overall impression of simplicity and quality. Accordingly I never bought a Classic and instead always went with the Regulars.
As it stands now, there is no alternative to engraved 21s. If I need/want another Sebenza, I have to look on the secondary market.

Know that I have had my "Idaho Made" Sebenza's for a short while, it really is not a big deal. I have Sebenza's with and without the Idaho stamp and I don't even notice the difference at all.

IMHO, it should not be such an emotionally charged question, but you certainly have the issue tagged correctly. :D Welcome, and apologies if I seemed to jump on you in the post above. :)

Boy it was an issue to me until I bought a couple and realized I didn't even notice it. :D
