If ESEE or RAT did not exist What would you use?

If ESEE or RAT did not exist What would you use? i know its a horrible thought but i want to know what ESEE people would use instead.
My subs:
No Izula-Becker Necker
No HEST-BRKT fox
No RC5- Becker BK2
 
Becker necker instead of izula
BRKT Drop Point Hunter instead of RC-3
Fallkniven F1 instead of RC-4
BK2 instead of RC-5
BK7 instead of RC-6
BK9 instead of Junglas
(as you can see I'm also a big fan of Becker knives...they need to come out with knives between the necker and the BK2)

If there were no ESEE probably Bark River Bravo 1 and a Mikro of some flavor and a Condor machete.
 
Definately Becker. If I didn't have a HEST to EDC it would be the Buck Paklite Skinner. If I had a million dollars, I think B Goode's Sidekick or Companion would fill the RC5 niche...
 
Easy. I've only known about them for about a year, and I don't use their products exclusively. So this is an easy list.

Benchmade folders
Gerber Multitools and folders
Kabar fixed blades
Condor/ontario machetes
Buck folders and fixed blades

I have several of each of the above mentioned, and I use them often.
 
I might also look at kellam knives. The wolverine looks really nice(and not just because I'm a 31 y/o comic book nerd)
 
The knives that I still have and use on the rare occasions that I am not using an ESEE:
- Fallkniven F1
- BRKT Bravo 1
- Laconico HWK (I am a bit biased) and several other Laconicos
- NWA Sierra Scout

HEST--Bushlore
3--Condor Skinner
4--Bushcraft Basics 4"
5--Rodan
6--Hudson Bay
Junglas--Kumunga
Lite--El Salvador Machete

IF ESEE didnt exist i would use..

No IZULA- becker necker
No RC3 or HEST - Fallkniven F1
No RC4 - SOG sealpup elite or fallkniven S1
No RC5 - Fallkniven A1 or Becker BK2
No RC6- SOG Seal team Elite or Fallkniven A2
No Junglas - SOG tigershark or Becker BK9

In all reality i would rather use rocks than not have an ESEE knife.
 
I already have them:
Fallkniven F1,S1,and A1.
& Skookum Bush tool.

If I could only keep a few;my Esee's and the above would stay no matter what.

This thread made me stop and think, thank goodness for ESEE !

Koster (3V) bushcrafter, Fiddleback (bushcrafter scandi ) or BRKT (Liten Bror), SAKs.
 
From this thread I might have to give Becker another look. I was never wowed in the past.
