The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
...I'd go with Busse
Bushwhacker in place of Junglas
Hellrazor in place of RC6
BAD in place of RC3
Busse's are kind of expensive though, so I'd think the closest in terms of designs, quality, and toughness might be BarkRiver's A2 knives. They even rust![]()
If their products were accessible, absolutely. The Yardkeeper, Scrappers and bigger bushbeaters would be ideal.I was eyeballing with scrapyard knives before my RAT 4. They are good pieces for the $ in my opinion. Beside that, i carry my fallkniven F1. Great piece for buschraft.
No wow about it. kabar/becker's stuff just works. no flash, just bang.
balogna sandwich, Jeff himself recommends half the blades posted in here, and since 90% of us ESEE fanboys have every RAT product out there why not dive deeper into the world of No-BS cost effective survival knives? This isn't a go-buy-someone-else's knife thread....
There is an ESEE Knife Company so IMO this thread is a fat slap in the face to Jeff, Mike and Shon. Being a user and collector of many different knives, I would say that this topic would fit better into the General Knife Discussion board than on the manufacturer's own forum.
I'm disgusted and disappointed to see this posted in here.
