The 18" WWII will be a good all around choice for you because kardas for this length range will start having 4" blades as Bill reported in another thread. This gives you a nice utility knife with your chopper.

Sing, in a month I think we will be seeing very high quality 7 inch kardas and chakmas on all 15 inch and greater length models.
