I would definitely carry a sword were it legal in Texas, and a real bowie knife for the small tasks. I just think there's something genteel about a carrying a sword, and challenging those who annoy me to a duel would be much more effective if I were packing one. Seriously, though, I'd carry a fighting bowie, as well as the three or seven other knives I already carry, and I would wear a sword, at least on the weekends.

I've always found that I can use an axe for almost anything, so if I could make a nice walking stick with a hawk head, or something with some more substance, that would be key.
