If you could design a Sprint Run..

A captain with serrations on the recurved portion would be great.

I'd really love to see a military with B75P!

I'm with you on both of those recommendations "spketch" ;) It has always behooved me as to why they never offered up the C-111 Captain with the inner arch part of the blade fully serrated. They could leave the pendulum end plain edged because I truly believe there is a lot you can do with that part of the blade in PE>> but for the life of me I can't understand why Spyderco never gave us the option to have a Spyderedged Captain model

I'm willing to bet if they did a Spyderedged inner arch Captain model with an orange or nuclear green handle in a Sprint Run that they would sell out in less than a month>> I'm almost certain of it. Everyone I chat with over at Spyderco's main forum has told me they want a Spyderedged Captain. I've been told that Jason Breeden's original prototype of the Captain had the inner arch part of the blade in SE. It would be like having a Hawkbill with extra features IMO.

AS you know "spketch" I'm a huge fan of C-36 Military variants>> especially those with supersteels  Yead Dude! we're on the same page ;) It's also high time we had a Sprint of Spyderedged Military model with either XHP or M-4.

I bet a lot of people would like to see another Michael Walker with M4, perhaps with dual liners. It would be close to the dimensions of the Chaparral, but with a different blade and lock. I like the light weight of the CF, but a skeletonized extra liner would still keep it light.

Blue or bronze ano'd ATR Ti Sprint. S30v blade would be fine but if it were something more exotic I wouldn't turn my nose up.

Military in foliage green G10 and an RWL-34 blade.

Or a Yojimbo 2 with all black hardware and DLC coated blade. Again, I would be fine with just S30v, but something more exotic that would benefit from a corrosion resistant coating wouldn't be bad. Cruwear, K390, or 3v come to mind.

Simply continuing the grey diamond texture G10/Cruwear sprint series to the Yojimbo 2 or Para 2 wouldn't bother me either.

A Caly 3.5 with drop point blade shape. While we're at it, let's throw on some titanium scales:)

I hope Sal is paying attention lol..

I'd love to see a Yobo2 sprint of any kind. I have the s90v/peel ply version and it's one of the best knife values out there.

Military with carbon fiber scales/Ti bolster, Axis lock, Spyder hole, Sebenza-type pivot, K390 steel ground to an edge-shoulder width of 0.0100.

I'm convinced after reading this thread that not everyone knows what a sprint even is. Changing the lock on a knife is not even a possibility on a sprint.

Tuff with textured titanium in Frag pattern or the pattern on the ZT560 with matching carbon fiber scale.

I don't need anything to outside the box. More SB Caly's and the Lum Tanto's. Change the scale color or something so they are not exactly the same.

Not usually, but Spyderco did it with a Military sprint (liner to frame lock).

I know this sounds wild and crazy, but how about the standard Endura and Stretch in brown and blue G-10 handles?:rolleyes:

Of any spydie sprint I'd want to see this the most, and I think it'd sell very well. From what it sounds like, there are a lot of people that want a Jester (I'd buy two or three myself!):

Jester sprint in ZDP-189 and flat ground with carbon fiber scales and a titanium bolster.

I'd be happy with a ZDP/FRN, ZDP/G10, VG-10 FRN even...I'd just want a Jester!

I'm patiently hoping/waiting for the blue jester this year that's for sure. The feller earlier in this thread that called for white micarta and high end steel came up with one hell of a nice knife if you asked me.

1. - FRN Calypso jr. with yellow handles and H1 blade.
2. - FRN Ladybug (or Jester) with Glow In The Dark handles.

I'm a fan of the Foundry.
XHP, Golden CO, FFG, nicely shaped blade, perfect size, wire clip....
But the stainless handle.
Titanium lock side with a replaceable lockbar insert and a carbon fiber presentation side sprint.
Winner.
