If you could design your own GEC SFO

A 3 5/8" Conductor. Maybe along the lines of a 72 Camillus.

A 3 5/8" scout with the same tools as a Soldier/Pioneer. Might have to make a plastic handle option for affordability.

A 68 with spear blade, cap lifter, and a punch/awl. Whatever covers they choose is fine.

A natural bone texas series with a texas star or map shield done with the sodbuster, jr, cotton sampler, stockman and a lock back like the #83 wish some BF dealers were texas based and could feel the love on that one

Granddaddy Barlow, long spear blade that swelled at the top w/ match strike long pull and liner lock; secondary blade, shorter lanny clip with same style pull (springs about a 7). It would have horse cut jigged bone--deeply colored and textured (almost black)... And I really like the "bomb" shield. So let it be written, so let it be done.

Oh, D2 steel would be nice, even A2... But I'm good with GEC's 1095 too.

#68 frame, long pull spear and scissors, TIP BOLSTERS, picked bone scales, and propeller shield.

Add my vote for the #85 EO.

It's beyond me how GEC hasn't slated a fresh run of 85s.

I would have them make one of these;

Edit: Ivory pick bone scales would look awesome. Something I do not think has been done before.

Some great ideas here.

Hope GEC's taking notes. I know I am. ;)
If you find an EO 85 in a dusty box during the move, and want to send it to me to tide me over, let me know.

In all seriousness, I really like how much GEC and their distributors seem to care what the customers want.

It only benefits GEC and its distributors to make what they know they can sell to knife knuts, no? So, yes, to that end, it's good that they pay attention to what's said in fora such as this.

Definitely that is the case for any company, but they seem more responsive to what people want with knives like the beer scout.

The Dixie Stock Knife in VG10 (or some kind of mid way stainless that holds an edge but isn't a bear to sharpen). Not sure on cover material, maybe silver twill carbon fiber or natural canvas micarta.

Or a #77 with clip main, pen sized wharnecliffe behind, and crownlifter/awl combo in front.

I'd love to see a #73 with a clip point blade, similar to the one you see on Buzzbait's #72. A GEC version of the Bose BackPocket if you will.

I'd like to see the clip blade from the 2012 forum knife in a 73, no secondary, horse cut jigged bone, dyed very dark, bare head.
