If you could only have one Spyderco knife? (Ended up with 2)

Like ChrisB507, if I could only choose one, I would have to choose the Spyderco CalyPara-MilitEndelica2 Salt.

Spyderco needs to make a big fold out wall poster of all their knives. Then people can close their eyes and throw a dart and see where it lands. ;)

I'd feel most comfortable recommending a Para2 to someone looking for a knife, but I think people should get their hands on different models and find the one that works best for them.

Military for sure... probably my vintage beater purely because its smooth and worn in and it has character to spare. The Military is next to impossible to beat because of the size of the blade in such a light package.

I'd be content with the Military as my one and only Spyderco. It's just that good.

If no size restrictions, the Manix 2 XL has replaced the Chinook at the first folder I'd choose to defend myself.

The Translucent Manix 2, on the other hand, is a terrific size, lightweight, doesn't destroy pants and is still very strong. It's hard to beat as an all-around knife.

Another vote for the (M390) Military, second would be cf/zdp stretch

If I could have 1 for around $100, it would be either the Paramilitary 2 or the Manix 2 XL. (I have both). If I could have one Spyderco that isn't even out yet it would have to be that Spyderco Brad Southerd Flipper Colab; that thing looks awesome.
