If you could only have one watch

I use stopwatches and timers a lot so that rules out most things analog. Quartz is also much more accurate than all the fancy mechanical watches out there. All in all I am pretty satisfied with my "Casio Mens Digital Twin Sensor Watch"

You can spend a lot more on something that does a lot less. For my needs it is what I would choose if I could only have one knife. Unless of course trading it in to buy a house is an option in which case I would choose whatever is the most expensive. :D

If I had to have only one watch, it'd be the MKII Quad 10 that I lost.

3 years later and it still makes me sad.

I guess my "if I won the lotto" watch would be a TAG Aquaracer @ $4200

Only one watch? That's a easy one, since I only own one wristwatch: a Casio GW-9000A. I do have a gold plated Seiko pocket watch, but it doesn't see much use. One knife? That's a whole different bag of nails.

After having several well known and popular watch brands in the $300 range fail me in a year or less my sub $40 G shock would be my only one watch pick. I know this may sound strange but so far it's been the toughest watch I've owned.

Ever thought to try a upper end Casio?
I've never heard of a Casio failing.....least not in the $40+ range.

The sub $40 Casio G shock has worked so well that I've stopped looking.Really rugged and waterproof with a great back light.I have several years use on it with zero problems.

I wore a Casio DW340 for years, but with aging eyes the traditional dial is now much better for me. Plus with mechanicals there is no need to worry about the battery failing in the middle of nowhere or where you can't find one. I've seen too many others with a failed/dead battery or a broken Seiko or Casio kinetic type with little choice but to try to find another watch to buy.

Still have my Casio. It's been through hell. Bought it at Fort Campbell in 1985 or 1986. Too much sentimental value to get rid of it.

the only change I would make is adding a Sunrise/ sunset chart like my core orange has.
