If you could only have one.....

It would be hard for me to pick between the Manix 2 and Sage 2, but I think I'd go with the Manix 2 as far as carry. As a show piece I would say the Dodo CF.

Left-handed Military if I could only have one.

S90V/CTS-XHP/M390 Para 2 for a "show off" piece that gets occasional use.

I've only ever owned 3 spydie models and byrd so I can't effectively answer this question. Can't wait to get back to the states to begin building my spydie collection.

My current edc: waved endura (might choose standard model if I could only carry 1 knife)
My Xmas wish (I know it's early lol): manix 2 lw
My showpiece: cricket-I've owned two (lost them both) but it is such a sweet little knife, socially friendly, and definitely draws attention; or a civilian because it is so awesome looking

There are three that I could live the rest of my life with. Either would do just fine:

Cruwear Millie

CPM M4 Millie

Endura super blue

Any one would be fine.

I'm going with a PM2 for my user, I don't currently own one but, for my use, I don't know of a better all around knife.

For a showpiece I would choose a super blue caly 3.5 with a CF scale swap from a caly 3.5 ZDP (saving the factory scales of course).

Curious, did you drill the rivets or just swap blades?

...oh, and Stretch CF for both...although a Caly 3.5 would likely be competition, but I don't own one yet.

My M390 para 2 would be my EDC, but the Cruwear Millie may change that. For show I'd keep the Phil Wilson Southfork.

I would severely love to have an M4 Millie, but just can't bring myself to pay aftermarket prices for one. I'm still hoping to see an M4 Para 2 one of these days.

EDC: Endura G10
Show piece: Lum Tanto gray sprint

Easy. My Ti Military with CPM-M4.

six months ago this would for sure be my answer. carried it for over two years straight. my go to work knife, woods knife, folder for food prep, etc...

I broke my knee and am lot less active now and have a different job, and I've been leaning towards smaller knives. just got my super blue Delica and I think this is the small knife to keep for me...

I'm still torn, it's too early to say this knife is the keeper, so I'll say cpm m4 military for now.

EDC....A Carbon Fiber Military for sure. I carry the BG42.

I could find knives from other companies that would work in place of all of my Spyderco's(though I wouldn't), but no one makes anything like the Military IMO.
The CF model weights 4oz, and I can't think of another solid 4oz knife with a 4" blade other than the Military.

edit- as for the showpiece part.... I don't have any showcase Spyderco's. Have some William Henry's, and a couple of CRK's(Annuals) I wouldn't use, but no Spyderco's I wouldn't want to use.

I don't own a caly 3.5 so I've done neither but from other spyderco's I've swapped parts around between 2 of the same knives I don't think JUST a blade swap on a back lock is possible, usual the lock bar has to stay with the blade it came with.
