If you could only have one.....

Military is new to me, but dang I like it and it does a lot.

Zulu for the show...such a cool knife.

I'd have to go with the Native5. Enough of a blade to be useful but not be too big to be scary. Also one of the most solid knives I own and can take whatever I can throw at it.

EDC: Southard or CTS 20CP PM2 (both have ti clips from STR). Both would do fine. Would miss my Militarys like crazy, but they are a bit large for EDC in the city:o

Showpiece/dressy carry: C22 carbon fiber Walker

Southard for both (LSCF for show) if I could. Due to 3" blade length limit: Caly 3.

Agreed! Southard for both. Just love it

although I am loving my Manix 2 XL. Just finished pimping it with some other orders. Finally. Lol

Hmmm. For practical purposes, I'd want to say my 20CP Para2. Best all-around knife in my experience.

However, if I'll be carrying it primarily in the office, I might opt for my ZDP-189 Dragonfly2...

My thoughts on this as of this morning...

EDC- Super Blue Endura

Showpiece- CF/S90V Military

EDC: Waved Delica.

It cuts just as good as its ffg counterpart. I can't notice a difference in my edc usage and I like having the wave a lot.

Show: D/A Vallotton sub-hilt.

Haven't handled one yet but I think it's a sexy knife for sure.

The one Spyder that I EDCed for almost 2 years was the Spyderco C-44 big Dyad and it was truly my all time favorite for Every Day Carry. I could get by with the upcoming C-44 Dyad that they are releasing a Sprint version, VG-10 bladed model. When it is finally released I've got the funds for 2 of them>> one for EDC and one for the permanent collection.

Most people just don't realize how many cutting chores you can do with the big C-44 Dyad model. It is truly the best of Both Spyder Worlds with one clip point, plain edged blade and one sheepsfoot, full Spyderedged blade. I truly could get by with that model only.

The C-44 Dyad is truly their "Do All" model. I hope down the road that Spyderco will do another 2 bladed model at some point.

The one EDC blade: Lil Temp PE in 440V

The one showpiece: I'd have to pick either my fluted Ti Millie or fluted Ti Native 5, or maybe the Lil Temp mentioned above if I could only keep one Spydie overall.

Southard. The answer to all Spyderco questions for me at this point is a pimped Southard. Best Spyderco for EDC? Pimped Southard. Best Spyderco for wearing in dress pants? Pimped Southard. Best Spyderco for use upside down under water in outer space? Pimped Southard. ;)

If I could have only one I'd have to go with my first Spyderco, the first Spyderco, the CO-1 Worker which I still have and use.

Now if I can wish, it would be this for show and go...

Endura wave. Bought a ton of a high end spydercos only to find that a $60 knife was my favorite of them all.

I really don't know for sure - I have had my Southard for a couple of weeks and it is a contender for sure but...

...I just ordered a Caly 3.5 in CF & ZDP to supplement my VG10 version and I still can't see anything replacing the Caly 3.5 for my most regularly carried knife. And we all know how the cliche goes about the best knife being the one you have with you. I'm pretty comfortable that I'll have a Caly 3.5 with me wether it is in the gym, the store, work or out to dinner this thing just fits my needs.

Thanks Sal & crew!!!

Ben
