If you could only have two!!! Please help!

For Work: Spyderco Manix 2 XL ($120)
For Off-Duty: LionSteel SR2 Aluminum ($180)

I'm one of those rare PM2 haters...well hate is a strong word but I just can't think of any valid reason other than local knife laws to pick it over the far more capable Military. More real estate on the handle for gloved hands and a far more comfortable length on the cutting edge. I sometimes think people opt for the PM2 because they're afraid To offend people with Millie.

Agreed. Just let my pm2 go after it had been collecting dust. My Ti Millie kicked it to the curb :)

On duty I carried a ZT 0560. It's a brute made for use. Where do you plan on carrying it? The ZT is big in the pocket, but I wear an external vest carrier and it's perfect. I carry several knives on and off duty though
A Matriarch 2 is also a good choice for LE. I've had people go for my gun before and it's no fun

The 560 is my favorite ZT by far, especially after a few mods :)

I like the benchmade MINI bone collector...seems like a perfect size for my hands, D2 hold its edge all day long when cutting cardboard, the stone-wash finish holds up well and the axis lock is well made and solid. Has been my go to knife for almost 6 months, alot of nice little touches like phosphor bronze washers and a good solid backspacer make it my perfect dress and work knife.

Cant comment on any of the others but i have some friends who absolutely adore their para 2s.

Ok thank you for all the suggestions, so after all my research (youtube, forums, people here) I have PURCHASED 4 knives that i hope can fit my needs. This is the list of knives as well as where i purchased them :
1. Spyderco Paramilitary 2 (Camo Grip/Black Blade) $140 @eBay
2. Spyderco Delica 4 (Grey) $65 @eBay
3. Benchmade 940Tl Titanium Limited Edition "circa 2003" (Titanium) $180 @Local Airsoft Store
4. Benchmade Mini Griptilian (Black ) $89 @Amazon

So far so good I'm quite impressed with the 940 even with it's age (11yrs old) Let me know what you guys think about my purchases and the prices i got them for. Also if you guys can verify authenticity since im new to this.

Here are some of MY pics.

that 940 is a STEAL at $180!!! Pick it up NOW! And then the PM2.

You'll have all your EDC sort of tasks covered with the 940, and it's super lightweight. Self defense and bigger tasks can be handled by the PM2.

You over spent a bit for the PM2. Plus you gotta be careful getting them off the Bay. It is overflowing with counterfeits. Looks legit though. Can you take a few pics showing the liners? You more than made up for the $ with that 940 purchase. Great score!

Since you made up your mind on the para 2 that's one down. I guess for the second I would be torn between the 940 and the 556 mini grip. Had a 940 for a day and got rid of it because of the aluminum handles and the blade was a bit to long for casual carry. As far as the mini grip I have 2 carry it for work everyday and love it, took the place of my native frn. In the end my vote goes for the para 2 and mini grip

Both spyderco knives are great knives.

Me personally would just get one spyderco southard.

For Work: Spyderco Manix 2 XL ($120)
For Off-Duty: LionSteel SR2 Aluminum ($180)

When I carry folders this is my exact combo and love it. I've actually stopped looking at other folders now, I've got the perfect pair for me IMHO.

WORK FOLDER: Spyderco Paramiitary 2 $120
CASUAL FOLDER: GEC #15 TC Barlow $90
FLASHLIGHT FOR BOTH: Olight Maverick M18 $60

This is what I would do if I was in your shoes. I have all of these knives and flashlight and they are fantastic. I can't see you needing anything else other then a fixed blade perhaps to replace the folder for work but that's not what you said you wanted so I left it as is.

PS
On behalf of my family I would like to thank you for all that you, and people like yourself, do for this country. Thank you for your service and I pray you stay safe, as well as your family. God bless.

Out of your top 6 Knives ~~ all you will ever need is the 1 & 2 --- if ever need more than a Delica & a Para 2 then you are
in a heap of trouble.!**
