Made an older thread on this topic over a year ago (the RC4 was the clear winner) - since then there have been a few models added and the name change so how about a new poll?

Here is the old one: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=682159

So, if you could only own one ESEE/RAT Cutlery blade, which would it be?

I originally voted 4, but over the past year my RC3mil has become my most carried, most used and most loved...

.

Oh 4 without a doubt. I could do everything I need to do with a knife with the 4.

so far, i DO only own one ESEE knife and it's the "5". to me, it's perfect - small enough to conceal, big enough to take care of most tasks.

I don't like this question sir, not one bit. A world where a man can own only one is a sad cruel world.

God bless,
Adam

A man has to think about these things. One knife? ESEE-4. One gun? Glock 19. Done.:D

I can certainly agree on the knife... but I'm not sure about the gun. If I had to one hand gun it I'd likely take my GLOCK 34, but I do intend on a 19 Lord willing.
The 34 is concealable, but I'd like the shorter grip for IWB.

God bless,
Adam

Adam04,

I like your thinking, I'm set when it comes to 9's in the Glockdom..

I too voted 4.. then again I only own 3 izzy's, hest and 4... so my experience is somewhat limited..

I voted for the 4 as I think it is the most versatile but I think that it is tied with the Izzy because I carry it the most.

man that is tough, if i had to choose based on which gets used more, izula. on which one i would keep in a pinch ESEE3.

Well, my IZULA gets the most use, but that's just because it rides on my belt everyday. However, I voted for the 4, because of how versatile it is. Decently long blade length, plenty thick enough for batonning, still small enough for finer work. In a do or die situation I wouldn't be too afraid to use it as a pry bar either.

But if I wanted to just go rambo... Junglas all the way. I would tear everything up with that bad boy

exactly my thoughts regarding the 4 & junglas. thanks for saving me all that typing :D

Whew man that's a tough one. I had to think long and hard between the 4 and the HEST. "sigh"... Right this second, the 4. Tomorrow? Might be the HEST.

All I would need is the lite machete. I do want to get a ESEE-4 to go along with it. I will get one when I get some money freed up. When the Izula folder comes out I would have an awesome combo. I will being doing a review of that combo when I get the ESEE-4 and Izulu folder.

I had to go with the 6, i like the 4 alot and gave it to my dad recently so he would have a great knife from me, but i dont miss it that much as i usually use the 6 more anyhow. BUT i do have to get another sooner or later with new blk/blu scales and black blade... Unless i wait for new 6 scales than i will have another 6........:D
