I voted Junglas. I like a big knife for heavy lifting. I been working with my BK9 alot lately and I have to say, big knives can do fine work, but you have to learn the in' and outs. I'm not there yet, I haven't stripped any game with it, tho.

5 for me. I'm a big guy & it's the perfect size for me. Not to mention there's just something about wielding a 1lb. chunk of steel that makes me all warm & fuzzy inside. lol!
 
The Izula covers most of my needs, and is so easy to carry that I forget that I have it on my belt. If I could have two, I would really like to keep a 4 around for the heavier chores though. Oh and BTW, G23 .40 Cal. I find it interesting how many ESEE owners are Glock Owners as well..... Quality tools, gotta love it.

I'd gladly pack a 10mm Auto myself... except it's hard to find and harder for me to afford good 10mm ammo.

I like the six. I like the extra length compared to the 4 and it's not that much heavier. Also I got my 6 first so it has sentimental value.
 
I voted for the 4 as well. I own others, but the 4 is the most well rounded.
If I knew the "survival situation" I might choose a different blade.

So as this campaign gets going are we going to get some smear adds against various knives? I mean, Junglas is a heartless hog butcherer. Can you be sure you won't be its next victim?

I had to pause and think a minute. I started with the 4 (my entry drug), but quickly moved to the HEST. And my first choice, after playing with (and owning several) would still be the 4, and my choice for only was the 4. HOWEVER, the HEST was very close, and would definitely still be my second choice.

And a Glock. If I could only have one, it would be a G23. Second choice (if I could only have two) would be a G21SF (which isn't one that I have.... yet). In that order ONLY because I'd have a really hard time concealing a G21SF, whereas I have zero problem with that and the G23.

Same here! I had a hell of a time picking between the 4 and the HEST. But then again that’s why I own them both...not to mention three other ESEE models as well. :D
 
Although i love my hest if i could only have 1 ESEE it would be my 5. its my favorite knife I own and I think I probably more than accomplish any knife related task with it.

As far as the random secondary poll about guns goes. I have a Browning Hi Power Mark III 9mm that is my favorite gun ever. it has never even tried to jam on me so far

ESEE-5 without question. I've got the entire line and for me, I've found it to be the jack of all trades.
