I agree with this right here. It’s an awesome knife. For about $12 more, the Reate PL-XT might interest you if you like button lock folders.
Only if you can open it with that strong spring.A nice A. Wright with filework and stag in a pattern that I don't have yet!
Still like mine. I like this spear point and wood handle, but I broke my nail opening it. A knife pick would help too.
They do have strong springs but will become smoother with use. The couple lambsfoot knives I use regularly have become much more pleasant. There are also a few things you can do to help break them in.Still like mine. I like this spear point and wood handle, but I broke my nail opening it. A knife pick would help too.
So have you decided?I got a $100 prepaid visa that I've decided I want to buy a new knife.
What would you buy with $100?
The 112 ranger is on sale right now on Buck's website, the one with the medallion. You could get that and a bottle of Bushmills....Buck 110.
I have notSo have you decided?
Look at the otter messer rivet knife, it looks very similar, I have one, it’s a pretty big knife but well made and not a nail breaker, lots of snap and quite stout, but not difficult to open and I dislike nail breakers. The fluted bolsters are very nice as well, a touch of class on such a workhorse.Still like mine. I like this spear point and wood handle, but I broke my nail opening it. A knife pick would help too.
Yeah and it wasn’t even that long ago! (Maybe 5 years..?) My S30V/G10 edition Buck wasn’t much more than that…. Maybe $90 or soHa. Kabars are 90 now.
I Remember when buck 110 was 40 at Walmart. It's 70 now
