The prices will keep climbing, won't be long until a kabar usmc short will be 135. Still not a bad deal for the years of service it will provide, but definitely no where near the price it use to be and is currently nowYeah and it wasn’t even that long ago! (Maybe 5 years..?) My S30V/G10 edition Buck wasn’t much more than that…. Maybe $90 or so
I'm intrigued with ultem, hope it shows up more often, I like synthetic materialsI recently spent $99.00 on this Vosteed Corgi Pup. I haven't regretted it for a second. It has been with me since I picked it up at a local shop in Syracuse, which I didn't even know existed until I started looking for this particular knife. It's a 3.5" closed, button trek lock with S35VN steel and Ultem covers. There's just something about it that makes it perfect for me.

Ahh ---If I didn't already have one, I'd buy a Cold Steel 4-Max Scout.
Kubey Tityus in 14C28N and Purple Titanium, or Civivi Vision FG.
EDIT - I have 2 Kubey in purple and blue, and 4 variations of the FG (not counting my WE version in 20CV). In one of the 10 pics, if you scroll right, you'll see the Kubey has a similar look to the Koenig Arius.
This is what I'm sayingI had $100, I bought this.

$100? A mora companion, an opinel no 8 and a SAK of your choice. Those three will cover just about everything and you’ll probably have a few bucks left over for lunch.
