I think I'd get one or two 'spensive ones. Then spend the rest on the massive list of knives in my head that I've always thought were cool but never cool enough to make the budget.

Maybe find an old Strider AR liner lock in mint condition, a Winkler hammer combat axe with rubber handles.

then cut to FNX 45 tactical + AAC TiRant M, Ruger precision rifle in .308 + Silencerco Omega

Chris Reeve Seb 25 in carbon fiber and an Umnumzaan
Emerson Jungle Commander and tan Specwar
Spyderco Ti Military, and Sprint PM2 in M4

The other 4K or so could go in the bank for a rainy day.

I'd use the cash to go to Montana and pay Rod Garcia to make me a couple of custom Skookum Bushtools while I photograph him doing so, buy us both a nice meal or two then go do a little elk and deer hunting. Head for home...
 
I would buy 9,000$ worth of nick wheelers knives before he become the most sought after knife maker that is not still alive.( this may sound a bit morbid and I appoligize if it come across that way. Mr. Wheeler is an amazing craftsman and I would cut off a nut to own one of his knives. I hope he lives a long and prosperous life!) As well as 1k of Matt Lameys blades. For 2 reasons... 1. We share the same first name, so he must be a handsome bastard. And 2. They are just flat out sexy!
 
All those knives I just never have enough to buy...but I'd buy them all at once:

- A fiddleback forge
- A bark river with desert ironwood, liners and mosaic pins (probably a bravo squad leader)
- strider SNG dgg
- Inkosi
- small sebenza 21
- lion steel tilock
- spyderco nirvana
