So if you had 100$ to get your lifetime worth of knives what would you get? Blow it all on one? Get several? I would get a sak tinker kershaw skyline and 2 moras.

It depends on what your purposes are.

Becker BK9 ($75), Mora ($10) and a SAK ($20 one) for camping purposes. This is what I would get.

OR

Kershaw Thermite ($35), Spyderco Delica ($50) and a SAK ($15 one) for EDC purposes.

OR

Zero Tolerance 200 ($100 for a used one) for "tactical" purposes. (That is, if there are such things as "tactical" knives.)

And then there are some of us that think you should get more than $100 worth of knives over a lifetime...;)

Couple SAK's couple Opinel's, a couple 12 inch Ontario machete's. I figure a pocket knife and a small machete pretty much covers everything.

To each there own. And for whatever purposes you feel are nessicary no specific reason because everyone lives their life different.

Probably something like this

Ontario SP53
Mora Forest Bushcraft
Case Large Stockman

Edit: OK so I'm a little over budget
Change the Case to an Opinel

Ontario Utilitac II.
Cold Steel GI Tanto.
Multitool of whatever flavor fits best.

If I could find one for $100 (not THAT hard to do) I'd get a used Benchmade 710. Otherwise I'd get a rat 2 ($25), a mora ($15) and a used benchmade mini-grip($45-60) then depending on how lucky I get on the mini-grip I'd pick up either a second mora or an opinel.

Alternately- ESEE Izula 2 ($75) and a rat-2 ($25)

Where in HADES private bathroom are you finding ZT 0300's for $100 and <? Seriously?

Condor Bolo and a Victorinox Farmer. That would have me covered pretty well.

BK16 ($65.00), SAK Tinker ($18.00), Mora Craftline ($9), Opinel #6 ($8, if you're lucky) = $100.00

I think he means the 0350, or at least I hope so. :foot:

And what the Hell is "tactical purposes"?

I don't have/use "tactical" knives. That is what guns are for. However, if someone asked me what knife they should has as a "mall ninja" "tactical" or whatever, I would recommend something from the ZT line.

And no, I'm not saying that the ZT line caters to mall ninjas--don't take it like that.
