Well, to be fair the 300 has both a regular blade AND a serrated blade! Two for one!
I just bought a Sharpmaker myself, haven't had a chance to play with it yet.
I recommend you watch the video even if you know how to use it. It's cheesy but actually pretty informative. Teaches you how to sharpen scissors.

Oh, I plan to. Are you kidding? I have zero idea how to use the Sharpmaker LOL I am really, really good with stones and sharpening a knife the old fashioned way. When I was in the BSA, I usually got stuck sharpening knives for my buddies who didn't quite understand angles of attack. I actually purchased the Sharpmaker after seeing it spoken of so prominently here. I got it in a little before Christmas, so I haven't had much chance to look at it, other than to open it and see all the rods and such. I was glad to see a video came with it, I can tell you that.
