if you hadn't bought knives...

Computers. I am a tec junkie that is never happy until I build that next gen computer, over and over. :o

prolly crystal meth.

Well, I'm only 22, and here's the whole list:

037.50 (kershaw 1470 storm)
037.50
014.00 (second-hand victorinox utility knife)
149.95 (cold steel 6" ti-lite)
006.00 (crap)
008.00 (crap)
252.95

If I hadn't spent 252.95 on mostly average or shitty knives, then I would probably spend it on one good knife. Yeah . . . or maybe a serious laser pointer.

Had I not bought my knives and making kit probably it would have gone into savings/investments, meaning I would have been doubly screwed during this last melt down but no knives.

Definitely !

Bike parts. Really though my total spent on knives is only a shadow of the amount I've spent on bicycles in the last 10 years. Now that's an expensive hobby.

Probably a new Radiator/GPU+Waterblock for my computer and a new motorcycle... maybe build a supermoto... and more track days...

I've spent more total but I've also sold some and traded some, etc. So I just figured I'm out approximately $900.00 right now on knives, $500.00 of that is for the 3 knives I have now and $400.00 is what I lost on knives re-selling on the secondary market and one knife that got stolen which accounts for the vast majority of that $400.00.

900.00 isn't really enough to do anything with, maybe a guided fishing trip for specs and reds are a pig hunt.

It would have gone in the bank. Gotta save some for retirement. But knives are cool, and I don't spend all that much...

what would you have done with all that spare money? throughout the years how much have you spent? ever asked yourself? enough to buy a bike, a car or a new boat. lets hear it.

I could have bought a VERY nice car, not a Lexus LFA (nice car but 400k is a lot). But I am sure a Nissan GT-R would be nice, right around 100k. That's my estimate over the years. 100k worth of knives, and memories of them being used. :o

I learned a lot, had a lot of fun with them, but would like to have saved at least half of it. (And just keep my Tacoma)

So save 50-60-k of the estimated 100k spent.
