If you lost a Sebenza in the Birmingham Area, I found It

cudos to you for doing this,I can't imagine losing a knife like that.I 've lost one Spyderco at a job and had to ditch another one in the trash at another job (zero wepeans, metal detector upon exit)

Just out of curiousity, if there is a zero weapons ban why would they not screen you upon entry?

You are a good man. Bump to the top hoping the original owner finds this post. In the meantime I would enjoy and use the knife.

Reminds me of how I got my first Sebenza. I was in town going about my business when a man stopped me and handed me a small Sebenza 21. He said "I've been looking for years for a man uglier than myself to entrust this knife to. It is yours until an even uglier man crosses your path."

Abe Lincoln gave you a sebbie?

That's going too far! How about a forum giveaway instead... A sebenza to a forum member who most resembles our sixteenth president.

Good for you Chuck. You really did go way above and beyond and have every right to keep the Sebenza. If you do find the owner, that would be an awesome story. Either way, kudos to you sir!

I actually lost a sebenza in hoover one time.

So most reading this don't know that's a suburb of Birmingham. Where marks outdoors is located.

This thread could get much more interesting if bladeweilder throws out some more details.

Or if we are guessing the neighborhood so he will give it to us, I lost a sebbie in vestavia:p

Very cool of you to post this.

Not to derail but I left an iPod in an airport 3-4 years ago, got an email from someone saying they had it and been looking for me the whole time. Knew the playlists, etc. They wanted my address to return it. Kinda freaked me out/didn't believe them but they did in fact return it. There is still good in the world!

Man, you have done everything above and beyond what could be expected. Put that thing in your pocket and use the hell out of it. You've earned it.

very cool to even offer. i agree with wizzard though. At this point i think you should keep and enjoy it.

I spent a couple days in Birmingham to visit family a while back and my cousin had lost his seb.
Is it a large classic with micarta inlays by any chance?

my friend, after the stuff you have done to find the owner, and if this thread ends up coming up with nothing, keep it, you deserve it. You did more than you needed to to find the owner.

either way, you are one lucky guy to find one (go play the lottery), even if you dont end up keeping it

Pics or it never happened! This thread has gone on long enough - it's yours or maybe not?

Hey Chuck, I have bought many Sebs in B'ham, but never lost one!

Good on you for doing this. But, time is up. Put that thing in your pocket and enjoy it!

dude, keep it. don't worry about anything but enjoying it at this point.
