If you only had $50 to buy a folder knife, what would you get (new or used)?

Cold Steel Voyager. I don't even have to think about it - in my opinion, it is the best value for a folding knife on the market today.

Vic farmer or super tinker.

Probably farmer over the super tinker if I my budget was constrained.

2 1/4" blade, Kershaw Scallion
3" blade, Kershaw Leek
3 3/4" blade, a used Junkyard Dog 2.2

Mug a rich guy and buy a sebenza.

If I had a $50 budget and no other knife, I would find a Victorinox Waiter to carry every day and for MOST circumstances.

If I had $50 and just wanted to add a knife to my current collection, I would be looking at a Kershaw Thermite, Piston or something along that line.

At less than $13 for the Vic Waiter you could buy it and another knife.

Id go with a endura or delica IF I could find one. If not, Id go with a Rat 1 which is all over the place under that price point. Then Id take myself for a steak and tip the waiter since I had money left over and karma and everything

The original post has so little context than any answers provided are meaningless. However, I'll play. A Spyderco Dragonfly, new.

Considering my current collection, if I was looking to buy a new folder for <$50, I'd buy a Case Sod Buster with jigged-bone covers. I like the look of the Amber Bone and the Persimmon Orange is pretty snazzy, imo...
