If you were buying a Bowie knife?

Here is my new Giant Chitlangi Bowie from HI:D Some fellow forumites helped me name her. Meet Maus!

For me the scrapyard's res-c is what I look for in a large knife. I haven't found a better handle material for large knife work. Not a traditional bowie but IMO a little more funtional. I have the 711 with a thinned out edge. Love that knife.

If Scrapyard knives would make a 10"+ Regulator that would be very hard to resist, especially if they get some S7 for it and not the 52-100 that they've been using lately.

Also, the MOAB.

I like the Cold Steel Laredo Bowie for production models. I also like the SOG Tech Bowie, but hate the spanner nut that I can not tighten or loosen myself.

Since I only buy knives that are ugly enough to actually use them :D, I would love to have a Svörd von Tempsky with a more contoured handle.

The SYKCO Regulator is a nifty knife, especially the handle, which is Res-C, very nice beater. Joshua J. I too concur, that it'd be much more appealing in a longer blade length, and S7. My feelings exactly, this coming from a 52100 fan. SR101/52100 should be more for Swamp Rats IMHO.
