I would want an extra large shopping cart so when I helped the rest of the rioters liberate the HD TVs from the Best Buy I could fit a really big one in my cart.

A nice big handgun with plenty of ammo, great idea for the circumstances, but since it has repeatedly been mentioned, I would settle for a good Busse or similar fixed blade that can be used to cut or chop a variety of materials from wood to wire.

To say that a weapon with ammo is two items is like saying you can have a knife with no edge or, in the case of jh205, a pogo-stick with no spring :D . The two are synonymous.

Where is the idea came from if you could have had only one thing to ask for????? If you cant survive out there when they give you your life back what makes you think you could with only one thing?????
Just think about all what happens in Iraq. Im sure there are people out there that know what is hard life where you have to fight for everything you got. If someone whats to kidnappe you then they will. Want to be a hero and show them how tough you realy are.....I think you might find your head on top of the dresser. Im sorry but i realy find this one, sort of fantasy that rambo might have after too much drinking with his buddies. You want the best survivel advice. I realy think its the best one you can get... Dont put your self in a possition to be Kidnapped in the first place. When i read in the paper of some fool that goes to Iraq cause he wants to do good and help everyone and then he ends up dead with his head in a bag. There are no heros most of them are dead. Sorry about the rant....But if you were kidnapped and you could have asked for one thing when you run away, realy got me.

Sasha, I've a few things to say.

1. I'm a veteran and everything you just said is about the most idiotic thing I've heard in a long time. Men and women join to make this country what it is and they ARE Heroes. You should thank your lucky stars they died to give you the right to say that. I'm saying nothing for myself; I don't believe in boasting. I'm talking about the hardcore men and women who are right now, no sh** in the sh**.

2. This is a hypothetical, fun thread and it only takes on troll like you to set someone like me on a serious note, trying to correct your obvious mental deficiencies that keep you from understanding self-sacrifice.

3. I do not intend this to be threatening in anyway, but you'd better thank whatever god you pray to we're not face to face right now. Call one of my Brothers or Sisters a fool and you've insulted my family; that don't fly anymore than a truck of sh** where I come from, jack.

i would go for a good size knife or a hawk.

i would hopefully be wearing my running boots and some heavy pants and a light weight shirt.

if i go with the flow and pick more than one thing, i would go for a good size knife or a hawk, and a heavy hornbeam beating stick (like the one by my bed)
 
Well sorry if i ruffled your feathers Fedaykincmndr. When i talked about it i didnt mean what so ever about the soldiers. I dont even think i mentioned the soldiers anywhere in my post. If i did then yes i do apologis. What i meant was about all those civilians that go there thinking that they can live within the Iraqies houses and show them what is the proper way to do things. Or they go there with for what ever reason hits them in the head. Then they complain that bad things happen to them. Same happened when some Brit dicided to go to Iran. What was he thinking??? No im not talking about the Brit marines. I guess cause i used Iraq as an example you thought im talking about the soldiers. The all time im talking about civilans that go places they know they shouldnt. We all hear about them. Again i never Meant to say anything about our soldiers. Or even the security guys.
I might not be very good at exprssing my self in writing but i do try.

Agreed. Not the greatest brand but I learned yesterday it chops, slices, dices, and breaks tile with the skull crusher with no problems.
