Just a fun question. If you won $250K and the taxes on it were paid, meaning its $250K of found money to you. Would that change your knife buying habit? For me I think I could see myself maybe using a couple of grand at most, but the rest I would have other uses for like paying down bills, new furnace, paintjob for the house, savings.
In my head I can only think of a handful of knives I would buy: BM Terzuola, Small Sebenza, Bradley Alias II, and a Case Peanut in G10 and a few customs that normall go for well less than $500.
I've been also finding that I'm a low budget user. My most used EDC knives are usually my cheapest ones. It isn't to say they are bad knives but they always happen to be cheapies. I think in that sense I'm able to draw a clear line with my interest in knives and my actual normal life. I'm somehow thinking that I should be in want of a super custom but I don't as it wouldn't change my knife use habits. I.E. today I used my peanut to cut open a ream of paper in the office and to cut some stray thread on my coat. And it was a $13 knife that I used. How about you folks?
