I've snapped up a few 15's at the current clear out prices online, but it looks like more than one retailer is out of them. Might want to make that decision soon if you are debating getting one. They sure are slicey!!
 
I know the feeling. I ran into the best deal I've ever seen and picked up five. Three for gifts and two for backup to the one I already have.
 
The 15 is such a great knife for its intended purpose. I went and got me a back-up/reserve. Great piece.
 
I saw one of the dealers here doing a promo a week/two ago that was just insane. Such a great knife as it is- let alone at such a low price.

After continued searching for a knife I've been convinced was stolen; my collection is in disarray. I'm sure I have at least two 15s...I think I might have 3. Just to be sure, I bought another one yesterday...along with a second Bk5. (Decided to pass on the 4, yet again). Once the weather warms up again, I'll have to refocus & finish up a few of my BK 15/16 projects.

I have a couple in route. Just been waiting by the mailbox the last day or two, maybe they'll come tomorrow !!!!
 
Just got my first 15 earlier this week and I'm glad I did. This is a really sweet blade and I can't wait to start using it!

I was digging around upstairs, and confirmed that I do have three 15s. That changes tomorrow when the mailman drops off my goodies. I broke down and ordered a Pelican 1550 tonight, to help rein in the disorganized sprawl of my fixed blades. (Noticed the start of some rust on knives stored upstairs, so they have to come back down to my office)
 
I wonder why the 15 among the Tweeners is being discontinued.
I could only surmise that is was sales numbers, but there seems to be much move for the 15 here - myself included.

That said, the 5 being discontinued was a real neck snapper for me. I get that it is somewhat of a unique size and shaped knife and perhaps that's part of it, but the 15 is such a useful multi-purpose knife of a really handy size.
 
A link to where these "amazing prices" are would be good for people (like myself) who are on the fence...

You'll know before the box is even completely opened.
Then, once in the hand, you'll see what slicing and dicing devices the 5 and 15 are.
When you get a chance to actually use them, you'll wonder why you didn't buy three of each. :cool:

I still can't get my head around why these two great models are being discontinued.:eek:
