Well the good news is that I finally got my new tower, keyboard and mouse and I'm loving it so far. I had to download 28 critical upgrades from Microsoft, I'm beginning to understand just what that means, and the total was 46 Megabytes!!!! Even at 48kbps it took hours!!!!
I've also downloaded the popup stopper I had as well as Zonealarms firewall. A person needs all the protection they can get these days it appears.

As to the prayers.............
My little granddaughter, the one who had open heart surgery, is in the hospital and has finally been diagnosed with
Chrone's(sp?) Disease!!!!:(
She was bleeding out slowly due to the blood loss from her stomach and colon. The doc found quarter size ulcers both in her colon and stomach!!!!
They started blod transfusions day before yesterday and hopefuly I will get a new update in the morning.
The docs also put in a central line so Jessica could be fed as she hasn't been able to keep anything down, not even chipped ice!!!!
Jessica is the daughter of my daughter who has the liver cancer. Our family really could use a miracle about now!
Jessica isn't even 13 yet.:( :grumpy:

My prayers go out to all your family. Hang tough and keep us updated on her condition. Twelve is too young for such things to happen!

Yvsa,

I am really sorry to hear this. What more can one say, but - Smoke going up.

Hoping this turns out well in the end

Done. Very saddened to hear that Yvsa, you all seem to be getting lots of extremely tough breaks lately, I sincerely hope things turn around for you and yours.

My dear friend Yvsa, Prayers and smoke are going up from North Carolina for your daughter and her little one. You and Barb stay strong.

Steve

Prayers have been sent, Yvsa, and will be continuingly sent until your daughter & granddaughter are on the mend.

We will definitely continue the prayers. I hope you get a break from all this soon. It can really wear one down. You and Barb take care. I know it's hard.:(

Glad to see you back!

Yvsa, prayers sent. My heart is saddened because of your family's sufferings. May God bless you and your's with a miracle. stevo

Please call the hospital and see if they would give your daughter credit for blood donated through "Blood Assurance" of Chattanooga. If the system is linked, please email or post it here. I know that donations can be earmarked for certain people or organizations and would like to send more than prayer to your granddaughter.
Tell the hospital that Blood Assurance may be reached at (423)-756-0966 to confirm things.

For the rest of the forumites, if this works, perhaps we could help. Please at least consider it.

respectfully,

uwinv Stephen
