I'm back

Great to have you back Sarge. I figure I came upon the scene just about when you left.

Alot of folks around here wondered when you would be coming back, you were greatly missed.

Today is a good day.

Welcome home, Sarge.

Glad you're back among us!!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

Please accept the gratitude of this former infantryman and his family for your
service on our behalf. May you find your retirement to be even more rewarding than your military career.

Hooah, Sarge.

Glad you're safe, or as safe as you can be around these parts. ;)

Thank you Yangdu,
There is, perhaps, little I could have done if I'd gotten back sooner, but that in no way lessens the depth of my regret. Thank you for welcoming me home.

Welcome Home!!! And thanks too for all you have done for all of us. You are definitely one of the great guys!!

Sarge,
So glad you're back among us. Looking forward to drinking your health at the Dog & Duck in the near future :D Got some new stuff I think you'll get a kick out of!

Sarge,
It is great to know that you are back among us! I had often wondered where you were sent and so long away, I worried now and again. I am glad you got got safe and are back here with us. Thanks for all your service!

Hi Sarge, welcome home! Nice to have back. :) Before you vanished, I offered to cook you dutch oven if you ever make it out to Utah. Well the offer still stands. Been trying out some new recipies and so far my new room mates have loved them.

Ah yes Berk, pints of stout at the Dog and Duck, and getting a peek at some of your amazing collection of cutlery. I could go for that. Good to know you're well, and still keeping them knuckleheads down in Austin in line. :D

Samurai Dave, well by golly, done with college now? Still hanging out in Waco? Still teaching self defense classes to hot college babes? Inquiring minds want to know.

Going to have to have another get together of Texas khuk nuts. Got a couple that would have like to have made the last one, mPisi and Danny in Japan (when he gets back).

Folks, Arch Angel touched on something that's been bugging me. I know a lot of you were probably worried about me, and I hate to have put y'all through that. Karma has a way of catching up with a fellow, and it won't be long I'll be down at the squadron in my T-shirt, jeans, and "USAF Retired" hat, helping my old squadron mates load their duffel bags onto the big white bus for yet another ride to the airfield, headed across the pond. Will it suck? You better believe it will. Will I worry about them? I'd be lying if I said otherwise. But I won't waste a whole lot of time on that, because they're well trained, well equipped, and some of the brightest and best I've ever seen. It's a source of deep pain, but also considerable pride, to realize they truly don't need me anymore. Still, just want y'all to know, that I know what it feels like to have the shoe on the other foot, and I'm truly sorry for the consternation I've caused.

The dutch oven bit sounds good Heber, but I'd probably be a bit fidgety around all those nice young ladies that seem to gravitate to your campfire. ;)
