I'm cursed with Hinderer

I lost a Benchmade Mini Reflex back in '02, found it 5 years later in my basement, I woulda swore it was lost, you wouldn't believe how happy I was when I found it. I've been missin' a custom David Winston Maroon Micarta shadow frame linerlock drop point for 7 years and it turned up just this summer. I had given it to my daughters BF when they started datin' and forgot I gave it to him. He asked me if I wanted ted it back because he didn't carry it. I was so happy to see it I offered him an Emerson/Kershaw he was eyein' up, he was happy, I was happy.

Don't give up hope on the MIAs if I can find one missin' after 7 years you should give it awhile before givin' up hope. Hey the GAW for Good Karma sounds like a plan. :)

I had a punk kid(early 20's so a kid to me) at Costco try to steal my wife's purse with my knife in it last weekend. So I feel for you. I love my all my hinderers and would be livid if I had 2 come up missing. I hope you find them both.

That sucks man!
I know the feeling tho
I lost a Sprint CTS-204P Parmilitary 2 for about a year and a half and then it randomly turned up in my car( swear I turned it inside out so I have no idea how I missed it) but for that year and a half I was bummed
I hope it turns up somewhere
Maybe it somehow fell out
Best of luck man

Well hopefully one of your brothers at work isn't a thief and it just got misplaced or something. Next time keep that bad boy in your pocket maybe it'll be easier to keep track of. You could always get one of those little cameras they have out these days and set a trap and see who takes the bait if you really think someone at work took it. Well good luck in the future with the hinderers you get.

I lost a knife yesterday for the first time.....ever.......and I was sick to my stomach.
A beautiful Microtech LUDT in electric blue, a coated Elmax blade. This knife broke its spring so I sent it off for repair.....cost me $85. Ugh
Sick. Know how you feel.

$85 for a spring? They know how to make $$$...

Sounds like someone knows you own hinderers and maybe swiping them. Ive never had a knife mysteriously disappear. Yea ive lost a few, mainly stupidly puting it down and not in my pocket while doing something then realizing hours later i never put it back into my pocket. One knife was left on the side of my trailer which became a street donation.

I dont think it is a good idea to install a surveillance camera by yourself in the work place. It can get you in a much bigger trouble than losing an xm-18.

$85 to MAKE the spring, machine the tools to open the knife and to install the spring. Also, he made an extra for me and gave me the tools.
And then I lost it......great.

Some companies send springs for free.

All the knives I lost (temporarily) have been because I had the knife on a pocket clip. I've never lost one flopping around in my pocket

I actually had a story opposite to most. I had someone break in my car. I had my Hinderer XM-24 Skinner sitting in the cup holder where I put all my change as well. They moved the knife out of the way and stole all my change. If I find who did it I think I will thank them. $5 in change gone and a $595 knife left behind!

All the ones that were lost for the most part were misplaced, when I have a blade clipped I'm obsessive about checkin', when I got my first Sebenza my wife thought I had a twitch, 'cause my hand was constantly goin' to my pocket to check. I still do that. :)

Damn, dodged a bullet on that one!

Just the opposite for me. Clipless would fall out of my pockets frequently. Since I started using knives with clips(which I resisted with a passion) I have lost no knives(knock on wood)

I don't have luck like that. That reminds me to keep my knives out of site while in the truck. I usually keep one the dash.

I'd be buying a lottery ticket or two :)
