I'm feeling horny!

Thanks for the kind words folks! I actually just checked up on this knife with it's owner a while ago and it's doing quite well. I've got a drawer full of gemsbok horns so you should see some more of these in the future. I've even got some for the lefties! :)

Jim! How could I forget about the Italians?!
Man those Italian stilletos are beautiful, and if there is any particular knife KNOWN for it's use of horn, those James Dean lovin bad boys are it!

Dave, those knives just reinforced why you are on my top ten list of favorite knife making dudes.

Deker- get that gemsbock rockin! One of my preferred horns:thumbup:

Ok 2k, those Fowlers got it out of my pants officially. I cannot guarantee anybody's safety at this point.

For those that ask to see pics of knives that I own, this one is in my collection. Happy to have it, MORE happy to have gotten to know Bill Burke over the years...SUPERB maker and human being...Elk horn handle with very thin buffalo horn buttcap, sheephorn spacers, and "mixed bag" damascus, san mai construction.

Lorien, you have a knack for attention grabbing, and not entirely suitable post titles...would you like to explain to your child what "horny" is a euphamism for?

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

:DNot Fowlers but thought you might like them anyway.:D

Mr. Burke, that last one makes me want to make enemies with an arborist:D He can grow 'em and I'll chop 'em down with a vengance:thumbup:

Steve, I am sure that you don't here this much but, It is my sincere pleasure to know you.

Landar, thanks and that knife would certainly do it it has a blade length of something like eleven 1/4 inches and it is a little more than 5/16 inch thick at the guard with a five and a quarter inch handle. It has a full distal taper and balances about two inches in front of the guard which makes you feel as if you need to chop something down when holding it in your hand.

I like sheep horn on the right knife, and occasionally like other types of horn. It's not one of my favorite handle materials, however.

Hey man, don't hate me cuz I'm beautiful!:D
Here I was, thinking you were a dirty pirate:rolleyes:
It's much harder to explain to my child why our planet has become a toxic cesspool, and how she can help fix it, than horniness, so no big deal:thumbup:

Anyhow, toss yer horns people!

Two more things,

Steven, that knife is something else. You have great taste in knives, if you call that one a keeper.

Bill- holy crap. That is all. I'm just gaga over that chopper.

I are a Pirate where Pirates be, and a somewhat public representative of the knife community elsewhere.

Great knives in this thread though!!! :)

With the knives posted here and the awesome chute that Deso posted earlier, I have a sudden need for a fixed blade with a musk ox handle. Hypnotic looking stuff.
