I'm in pain...

There are several German dealers in knifemaking supplies, some of whom are listed on the contacts page of my website. Maybe you can find someone you know who speaks German? Steel companies usually only deal in entire plates of steel, if you are ordering by the pallet – 250 kilo and more – then the steel companies will help you. Otherwise if you only want strips or maybe 50 kilo then the dealers are good.

Here in Berlin I get to speak Turkish every day. I find it not too difficult except for that I need to spend more time learning vocabulary. I really like the structure. It's hard getting the right special letters on my German keyboard, but...

Simidi yemek yiyorum, iyi aksamlar!

Tesekkürler Kevin :) Links were really helpful, it is hard to find your website link though, maybe you can add it to your signature, thats what I would do if I had a site :) My girlfriend lived for 8 years there and Holland with her German ex. Her German is better than her Turkish :D I'll ask her to help me through, I guess to find some German sites and dealers will help my progress... Thanks again Kevin. Afiyet olsun...

ps. Lovely knives you have there ...

Bir sey degil!

Stefan Steigerwald and Wolf Borger both speak english, but German will help to read their sites. Let me know if I can help you further.

I think you may only have a signature if you pay for a membership. I've tried to, but it didnt work. Vaallah! :-)

Wow  Steigerwald's online shop has usable size Bohler N690 for reasonable prices. Even he has M390 (my dream steel :)) in good sizes, it is expensive as gold though. You did help more than I could imagine, that site is a gem, thanks....

Glad to help out. Stefan Steigerwald is an official dealer for Böhler in Germany, so if you need other sizes or larger quantities of Böhler steel, you should contact him directly to discuss what you are looking for and to get an exact quote on the price. He speaks English, French and of course German. I have known and done business with him for many years and he is totally honest and trustworthy – he also makes excellent knives himself!
