I'm Tired Of Technology, Make Mine On An Anvil

I made this on an anvil... well sort of...

Anyone who disagrees with me is misguided... If I didn't have thousands and thousands of dollars worth of computer knives resting around my house, I would stand on my high ground. Do as I say, not as I do and never disagree.

I appreciate knives made the old fashioned way just like the next guy and while there is that certain aesthetic Old World charm, there is no way I would reject modern knife making methods. I love my modern high-tech knives. :D

I'd like to see someone hammer out the mechanism for this on an anvil.

And just because something is forged by hand, doesn't mean the end result has to look like something found in the grass after the 'Rendezvous' left town. (Unless your name is Svord, and that's your thing. Then it's perfectly fine. ;) )

Now this is a forged knife!

My preference goes the way you mentioned-hand made forged blades, these are completely whole different ball game to any mass production....simple as that. These are not spitted out of machines by hundreds every minute, these take time to make, have often qualities second to none and have virtually no limits in overal look, performance, durability, etc compared to very quality limited mass production.Handmade knifes also cost way more than their factory counterparts and there is way less people owning their examples to be able to make any genuine comparison....Yes,of course, most will brag about how good or even superior is their mass produced modern knife and lets leave this assumption to them,no problem at all. However, those who appreciate hand made and hand forged knifes knows exactly what you had in mind and will get your message mate,do not worry! Take care

I had to quote this and bold the parts that show how special you really are.

Wait....wut?

I'm just saying I'm mostly right, even when I'm a LITTLE wrong (hardly ever). Except when I change my opinion, than I'm just better informed. Even then, I'm mostly right. When I'm wrong, I'm often wrong with a purpose. That ends up proving how right I was, by making people realize that even though they were right, I was right also, but in a different way. I just expanded their understanding of right.

Do you see now?

By the way, pry up a manhole cover with this little stainless steel beauty... Watch what happens... My guess is the tip will snap off, but it can sure hold an edge while it's breaking.

And just how successful would you be lifting up a manhole cover with this?

Personally, I'd use one of these:

Use your viking knife, dig a hole, and bury your ego.

The OP's certitude about right and wrong is not a topic relevant to General Knife Discussion.
We can either keep this one about knives, or it can be locked or moved elsewhere.
