The SBL bag arrived yesterday, and this stuff is as addictive as INFI. What an awesome piece of leather :) I think you owe me for this bag and the god knows how many more i will buy over the years. No more recommendations from you...none!

I'm already thinking the sachels will make nice "gift Bags" for Christmas next year.

Thursday is her first trip on the road....

I'm blown away by it.

Working on a minor shoulder strap issue, but it's nothing to do with the bag or SBL. Getting more advice than I counted on for how to solve it, LOL

Lmao,,,,,,,, no saddleback leather ,,,,,,, they're expensive but really well made,,,,,,,, as the above pics show,,,,, thegatman was the one who first posted the info on the leather

Very nice. Recently I got a similar case from Customhide. It looks a bit less "from the wah with the Afrikans". While I really dig the SBL, i couldn't justify it for a business case. LOL

Cool bag.

Yes, I agree :) This may have been "THE" nuke to my INFI addition, these bags are like crack cocaine I'm already trying to see what else I could use like the duffle bag.

I'm telling ya, there is no way to describe how nice this leather is with words. I really do hope it lasts my entire lifetime and I will be making very good use of the 100yr warranty in the event it needs it at any point. I'm not tossing this one to the side if something breaks, I want to spend a lot of years together while it gains character.

I can justify "almost" anything as a business case....given it will be a 365d/year bag, justification was no issue, LOL If it were only going to be used while I was off work...yeah that would have been a BIG justification requirement, or me selling blood on the weekends.

Yep yep..I was torn between the black and Dark Coffee Brown. After having a black back for five years thought I'd mix it up a bit for the next five.
 
I am already allocating some budget for SDL bag.
I think it would be good to see some more pics of it with some INFI for size comparison.
This bag looks really good.
 
Wow! :eek: Normally I prefer a lighter bag, but that is just plain sweet! Darn it, might have to consider that to replace mine in the near future! Fantastic score!

Now Wifey has been saying we NEED a good overnight/duffel for when she goes into labor (and other things, of course.)

Eli should be along now any day with pics of his satchel.

Soon enough, there will be a Busse/SBL family. I only hope I get some nice discounts for all the people I'm sending over. Make sure you include "Jason Crespo sent me!" in your emails to Dave over at SBL. ;):thumbup::D

BTW...the ladies in the pic are:

Stainless Kimber Pro TLE/RLII with Larry Davidson horned lizard slabs and a UBG custom holster in Iguana and shark.

SA EMP in 9mm with Larry Davidson horned lizard slabs and an HBE custom holster with cowhide and shark. The Kimmie is gone, and my father is "holding" the EMP for me.

I did get my satchel in, but it was just a hair too small for my laptop (just barely, and I considered modding it, but eventually returned it instead.)

I'm waiting on a messenger now, should arrive any day.


But I should add that these guys are right, SaddleBack makes a really nice bag. The satchel was so nice that I REALLY considered keeping it and ordering the Messenger also, but finances wouldn't allow it just now.

If you buy satchels for Christmas presents, someone will be very very happy!

I would carry a knife, but dont feel like giving the TSA agent an early birthday present :) If something can't go on the plane with me I best not stick it in the bag too much of a chance I'll forget to remove it before the next flight.
 
Dark, if you ever get a pic of someone wearing that bag, I'm trying to tell how big the XL looks on a person. Thanks
