I'mGatMan! You Owe Me Money Porker!

Those sure are some cute Murses! Maybe GP can color coordinate some handles for you guys!:D

Dood...mention my name--Jason from Miami--when you send your email.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. Seems like there will be a bunch of those bags on Hogs very soon now. I wonder how many will have them at Blade...

Btw...that's a great idea you had for the strap. Too bad you couldn't get one in good leather...but I guess that would defeat the purpose. You're gonna be glad you have that on there this coming week.

I'll have to be careful here.

Despite my vocation as a scientist, I began my high school life as a football player. Yes, I know, hard to believe. During my not-very-glorious football career, I broke the left collarbone and later powdered the right one. I later discovered I was also wearing away my right knee and left shoulder at an accelerated rate.

So, now, I've got the right knee of a healthy 80 year old semi-invalid ... and a left shoulder that hurts whenever anyone even glances at it. I did a lot of TDY (government travel) from the late 80s to the late 90s, carrying heavy bags always on that darned left shoulder ... no can do any more.

So ... I shall have to be very careful about the bag and its contents.

Or, you can grab the backpack instead of the brief...though I'm sure the brief would be better as a "work" bag.

Take care of those centenarian legs so I can knock them from under you at blade 2010: An INFI Odyssey. :D

I have the medium sized one, I love it. The bag does age and mine has scratches all over it but it's part of the bag's appearance (rather than detriment).

It's no dainty bag though, and gets heavy and cumbersome. But it's a tough bag that should be with you through the ages. The backpack conversion is a neat feature, but not too comfortable.

I'll stick with the brief.

Right knee's only 80 ... I've got 20 years of solid, semi-use before its centenarian!

Yeh, well despite your age, you still ended up with the '08 SK. Normally I would assu e you just used your wile, but we've all heard the bloody story, so I will not be ubderestimating you. Don't want to turn our like Antonio Margarito last night.

Those are some sweet looking bags. I've looked at them in the past and managed to talk myself out of buying one, My padded Filson laptop bag is still in good shape, but leather is just too cool...

OK, I finally broke down and bought a Saddleback briefcase. Found the medium in chestnut in the "Daves Deals" section last weekend for a good price and took the plunge. I LOVE this thing! If you're looking for a briefcase that just oozes quality, do yourself a favor and save up your pennies for one of these.

I emailed them about a top stub checkbook cover. I gotta start small, fortunately, it doesn't look like they make a "traditional" tri-fold. I love a leather wallet and checkbook cover. I've worn so many out, it ain't funny.

I finally gave in.......and I blame I'mGatMan! (Jason) for everything!

Ordered this morning:
Briefcase Thin Carbon Black (Large)
Wallet Bi-fold Medium Carbon Black
Gadget Pouch Small Carbon Black
(Request in for the Gadget Pouch Large Carbon Black)

I just couldn't quit thinking about Saddleback Leather so I gave in. (insert Brokeback Mtn. joke here)
At least I'll have a new Blade bag. :)

Nice, I was thinking who to blame...UPS says my SBL wallet is out to delivery today, so I should have it tonight.

I'm in on the blame game...

Well, I hate to admit it... but I have joined the flock as well. Got a lovely used one from a fellow Hog here that is just the best leather bag I've ever seen. Mine is the small one that turns into a backpack in chestnut.

Sigh...;)

Man, I think I need a new court breifcase/computer bag..........hmmmm, I was going to buy a Maxpedition Mongo.

But for the price of 4 I could get one of these. Just don't need another expensive thing to buy right now (New house needed new TV, New couch, Fridge, Stove, Microwave, Lawn, Lawnmower, carpet, paint, and blinds).

Thanks a lot!

You know come to think of it, that luggage I used in Bulgaria for two years is all worn out and full of holes. I think I need some new suitcases, and a duffel too.

What's this?! I'm outta the picture for a little while and come back only to find I'm STILL being blamed for the Saddleback sickness?!!?

AND I made a sig line? That's crazy! I've been saying all my life that i was a trendsetter and nobody believed me!

:D

Glad to see I'm still enabling you old porkers! Drew, Robin, T...I hope you get as good use out of your leather as I have! Dave's pieces are AWESOME!

Oh, and I haven't forgotten my brethren and sistren here...I've just been battling a bit, and also satisfying some other addictions. ;)

Robin, please email me and catch me up on Barb when you get a chance. Thanks, love!

I've used a Large SBL briefcase in light tobacco for a semester at college and I still catch a fantastic whiff of fresh leather every time I open it up!

I've had my SBL Large Bi-Fold in Dark Coffee that's building character day by day.

I also have the new gadget pouch, medium in Dark Coffee on order which I bought with the intention of using it for my DSi XL - I think it'll be way too lose though. I'll find another use for it I'm sure. The pouch didn't cost me a dime though as I had a couple gift certificates from when I ordered my briefcase during the holidays.

Also - nobody to blame but myself! :p
