I love how you can see the dents he put in the blade by pushing WAY too hard laterally as opposed to pushing into the chopstick along the plane of the blade. You know, how you are Supposed to use a knife.

Could any, if not most, of the edge damage be a result of improper usage, specifically WAY too much of a side load on a pure, thinly ground slicer?
 
well, this one went south quick. Maybe it is time for a closing.
 
That's too bad this thread is turning into a mess...
I haven't ever seen a golok with a tip like that before. I never really cared for the rounded tip, but the point makes it look like a completely different knife.
 
Sucks for the OP. His knife looks great and so do the pictures. It would be nice to see how the edge looks after a little sharpening. However I think the trolls would just return.
