(in)Complete list of Kershaw knives

I recently posted a "new" Kershaw Sapphire with blue titanium handle on Ebay for anyone who might be in the market. Thank you in advance for your interest!

Made a couple minor corrections and updates today, but I AM running behind on this list...

Thanks for putting the list together!

best

Added the 4001SW Tilt stonewashed, how did I not know that existed? You see something on an auction site and think it must be a counterfeit until you research a bit...

Are you looking to sell a Kershaw D.W.O. II pocketknife (3002).. I am trying to find a black one. Thank you.

RamZar suggested I respond to this thread (which is quite good).

Hi darthrya, welcome to Skyline Fever, lol.

You're missing the elusive 1760RD. I'm looking for one of those, btw...just in case anyone has one they'd like to sell.

Your 1760CF should actually be 1760S30VCF.

Although a different part number, the fixed blade 1084 and 1084OR are still Skylines.

The 1760 40th Anniversary Skyline knife is a nice part of the collection, although it doesn't have a unique part number. It's basically a 1760BW with laser etching on the presentation side of the blade. I'll try to post a picture when I get home. There is also an uber-rare Ducks version. There are also a couple of documented one-offs, like camo scales and composite blade. Some consider the "First X of 500" blade stamp to be a unique Skyline. Also, older Skylines had a born on date stamped on the back side of the blade.

In terms of finding the tan and blue scaled variants, your best bet would be to watch these forums. All of those tend to pop up on a fairly regular basis.

Every time I feel the burden of trying to find all the Skylines, I remind myself how happy I am I didn't decide to collect Leeks!

I've got 6 Skylines. Got my first while I was in Afghanistan--the RDSW. I wanted something I could rely on when I got back home and legally carry. A Gerber switchblade doesn't fare too well in the public domain. I love the quality of construction, ease of use, and how slim it is. It's a great everyday knife. I used to be a CRKT man, but I won't go back once I saw the quality of Kershaw.

Just picked up No. 7. I never got the classic 1760. I decided to get one with the classic Kershaw label on it before that stock is exhausted. I like the old brand label. Much better than the new version.

Hello😄 I am curious about the kershaw 1006. How many different versions has been made? Are all of them Hattori knives? And what Kind of sheats? I’ve seen brown and black leather, also the plastic ones. Has this knife been offer to bogus replicating?

Holy zombie thread . . . LOL!!!

That said, I've bookmarked and often referenced this thread to "research" Kershaws that I own and/or have been interested in buying in the past.

It's actually very useful for that purpose. Someone should also create a Kershaw-wiki site (like Sypdiewiki) that would be even more useful. :)

As for the 1006, I have no idea.

I've seen them for sale on EB from time to time but, sorry, I really know nothing about them.

I have two old Delly Wade Officers in red & yellow, both Kai Japan, both 3001 & not on the list.
They are a different shape (more rounded) than my black D.W.O Kai Japan 3000.

Duh..... didn't notice the age of the thread.... Oh well a bit of extra info. 😄

Ahh......the beauty of world wide web😁 Ended up buying it, but would like some more info. Especially about the different sheath options. :)

The 1006 was made in only one style and was offered with Leather sheath or ABS sheath right from the beginning in 1982 up to around 2004 or 05 when they switched to China and came with a Kydex sheath. A couple of other models that resembled the 1006 were made as well, the 1008 and 1009 but they were not amphibians.

I have one with kydex sheath but I am curious if there is a model with a brown leather sheath. I know the earlier model had a black leathersheath. Any idea?
