in love with 5160

I suspect it would have taken longer than a couple of hours. I've cut a lot of cardboard, but I've never been able to get a blade to the point that it wouldn't slice printer paper during comparison tests. I will have to try again tonight though.
 
Chad2 - I saw both videos. Yeah, you sure made a beast out of 5160. It would be cool to see how your knife performs in dry-oak and sisal/manila rope tests. Probably be a shorter video. thx.

Yes it definitely would be shorter! I use what I have :D.

Yes but this is why I mostly do slow cuts. A slow cut is more likely to show a flat spot by tearing the paper rather then cutting.

And it was note book paper slightly weaker then printer paper
