Ya I thought I remembered reading it,but I read countless threads when I was curious about the whittler,it was interesting to find that Bill Howard made a copy of the 38 for case when He was with queen in 90's

Ya case classic in 1993 with the yellow bone the one that appeals to me,so bought the 2003 case seahorse chestnut bone which has a fit and finish as good as any and thenthe 39 bloodwood after trying without success for the jigged bone.

I think you mean the 38!! Good choice in the circumstance!!
