Bad inaccurate description of condition by the seller

this is a chisel grind, so no "sharpening" on the other side. A closer picture of the tip at a slightly more inclined angle would reveal the actual condition of the sharpening. I definitely didn't make the "knife look shitty".
As far as I’m concerned, the deal isn’t done unless the receiver of the knife is satisfied with the condition of it. All this entitlement frustrates me when sellers think that once the cash is received, they’re off the hook. I always follow up with buyers to ensure they are content I sold them the knife as described and that they are happy BEFORE I do anything with that money. I wish more sellers had the same attitude.

I even put it on a black background. The single bevel is on the other side of the left edge. I just want to show that I am not selling ppl shit that I market as gold.

We get it king of cheese you are not a fan.

The condition of the knife can be subjective. What hurt you here was 10% the condition of the knife, 90% how you handled it. You think you would’ve received a negative review if your response was:

“Sir, I’m deeply sorry that the condition I described isn’t acceptable to you for this deal. I’ll immediately refund you your money plus any necessary shipping costs you will incur for return shipping. Please send the knife back when you are able and I’ll try to be more thorough in describing the condition in the future. My sincerest apologies.”

How many people are going to slam you after that?

As I said king of cheese you’ve pretty much driven your point home but you are spending an awful lot of time and words on me. I’m honored. My previous ratings and vouches should count for something, otherwise what’s the point of feedback.

You don’t get a cookie and a parade through BladeForums square for “doing the right thing”. All you did was prevent yourself from crossing the line into thievery. Lesson learned I hope. Anyway, I’m not going to monopolize this thread, I’m off to other parts. Tootles.

Thank you

Kenny, this has been rehashed ad nauseum now. There's no need to keep repeating it.

Since I have no way to examine the knife in person, and don't want it to be shipped to me as it will prove nothing at this point, because barring a distinguishing mark I wouldn't be able to prove it was the same knife, there's nothing further to be done, imho.

G GlfSupr , you've been able to go on with your other sales and as Boru13 Boru13 and I told you, you can continue to do so barring any further incidents that raise questions of ethics or propriety.

foldingknifefan foldingknifefan you've been made whole, and since there is no further forensic evidence to examine, let's call it a day and move on. Nobody is going to come out unscathed from this incident, but hopefully it will be in the rear view mirror after further activity in the exchange goes off without issues.
