It's possible. I guess, in retrospect, that really says something about their quality.

I am pretty upset that I was essentially scammed in purchasing this knife; it was described to me as new except for the modification and I asked plenty of detailed questions, all of which were answered, so I thought the deal was fine. I was excited to get a Sebenza, then disappointed, and now embarrassed that I was taken for a ride and shared an inaccurate judgement. This knife is probably going back to the seller. I apologize and I hope you guys can forgive me for my rashness.

I think you'd be pleasantly surprised if you return that knife, and buy a CRK folder that fits you the best!

Esav....I was kidding about moving this thread to Whine & Cheese. I knew that would Never happen. The thread was moving in the same

direction that a lot of threads go when a member starts a trolling thread. In a much nicer way tho.

As 12345 said in post #74 he was taken for a mean 'ride', we should consider this thread CLOSED.

I feel for the OP as long as he understands what it is that he bought and is sincere about his misjudgments, which I do believe he is though I'd hope someone who isn't new to knives would be able to tell from that travesty of a blade/sharpening job that they'd been had.

I'll say though, I was confused at first reading what I thought to be a trolling thread with no mention of the "Sabenza". ;)

No forgiveness needed. Everyone's been clear about their thoughts but this thread stayed on the high road.

What you need now is a gen-you-wine Seb. ;) If you buy a clean one used, and don't like it, you should be able to move it along for little or no loss (or maybe make a couple of bucks) if it doesn't agree with you.
